If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
I’m from FL born and raised. I just moved here two weeks ago as I’ll be starting on my PhD at Rice soon, and this fukking heat here :picard:! Hell is this? It’s hot in FL, but it also rains every day. This shyt brazy out here. I had to buy a car shade for the first time ever today. I’m down bad. :wow:

They gonna get PAID.

Funny thing is what these yellow colonizers are trying to call "asia town" ain't shyt but a shopping strip and nothing more. :mjlol:

Literally a single address. And the entire shopping strip ain't even just asian businesses. There's at least ONE black business there I know for sure. Fork-It is a restaurant owned by a black woman from NY on that strip.

That area, Census Tract 5425, where the condos and "asia town" is only %6.2 with a pop of 241 asians living there. Compared to the 458 black people who make up %11.7 of the area.

Yet they tryna act like this is some deeply rooted holistic majority asian enclave immersed in asian heritage and culture(not that it would make any difference from a legal standpoint)., when that "asia town" shopping strip didn't even EXIST until 2016. smh :dead:

The unmitigated gal of these yellow colonizers to come from w/e tf they come from and try to tell black people who've been living there, owning businsses and owning property that they don't belong there. When they themselves use dirty business tactics to corner they market on black focused businsses in our communities.

I hope they jug them bytches for everything they got in court.

Asia town just got hit by robbers too so it’s headed toward hood status :mjlol:

glad they got receipts. That area isn’t all that, they can head to midtown or help support the turn around happening in 3rd ward.

What areas would y'all suggest for someone looking to buy a home there? Areas to avoid? Preferably new builds or less than 10 yrs old

I aint from there and this prolly won't be super helpful...but when I wanted to move there we were looking @ suburbs of Houston...It was called like Sugarbush or sugar something...basically any suburb outside of Houston was a go for us...but this was years ago....those houses prolly over half a mil now

Sugar Land? I'm going down sometime soon to check out some spots with a realtor my old classmate put me on. Trying to stay within the loop but if all else fails Mo City or Pearland here I come
