spot been open. lounge type shyt with a dance floor. outside patio with DJ. Saturday is black night if im not mistaken.
it's right across from the toyota center, pease st and crawford i think. On Fridays it's black crowd
i'll say that if you're goin there with your crew with the intention to buy bottles/stunt in vip, or you like the 'spectacle' of other people doin that, or you're simply bringing a girl with you just to buy her drinks and have her dance on you while ignoring everything else... then yea, it's a spot for that.
B/c otherwise it quickly turns into a bottle section/vip fest type of crowd, so if you didn't come in with that intention nor know the promoters like that, then it may not be as fun as other places where the (bad) chicks are more open to just drink, dance with you, and slide the digits. Lumen has a better balance of that imo; you'll get the skrippers and ig thots crowding the vip sections but you'll also have the grown and sexy 'normal' chicks who look bad and just want to chill/meet dudes.
I went there a few weeks ago and connected with a number of females throughout but it got super packed late with the chicks-lookin-for-ballers/sections type and my homeboy told me james harden was up in vip, so that probably explained it lol
i said fukk it and checked out this downtown spot called engine room last night with a couple homeboys. First time there in a minute and it was largely whatever, but those bartender/bottle girls be

I was there too. shyt was packed, but I felt like Dj Mr. Rogers really held the crowd back. His set was awful, the worst I have ever heard from him. No cohesion to it at all and I heard plenty of songs more than once.
This is Engine Room every Friday night, especially if they have someone "big" there. OVO crew and Cardi B was in the building this past Friday night, and if you didn't have a section then you were likely assed out in the back hanging by the bar. I'd suggest getting a section if you are going to attend Engine Room. Its $400 for one bottle which is a bit steep but they cater to the crowd they attract IMO. If you like stuntin, poppin bottles and standing on couches then Engine Room is a good look.

i'm not a big fan of the aristocrat stuff but yea they did they're thing building it up. Conversely, i remember back when i was in school there were a few dudes who i swear didn't even go to class, they were just about the party promoter life (or tryna come up on it). On one hand they ran through mad college chicks off the strength of it, on the other hand i don't think it really worked out for any of em long term, financially. hell i remember them as super seniors still creepin in the dorm rooms tryna game these freshmen chicks with promises of free admission lol. Idk what any of em are doin now, or if they still at it.
