It was the dude who got "rescued" by the reporter.

The sun is out now. This morning I thought the storm was going to race over us after sitting in the same spot out west for seven hours. It was moving fast then it stalled right over the city and I knew I was off work the rest of the day. GEICO is a totally different animal from TSA. They actually care about their employees. :wow:
Do you handle claims?

Talking as if you know for sure. This is why shyt never gets done. :snoop:

Yea breh it is kind of common sense. 5 inches is a lot, 17 inches is an extreme amount of rain, but y'all continue acting like this is our situation every time it rains out here.

So you are throwing out the possibility of them taking measures and building/improving flood prevention systems to lessen the type damage that we got today in case it happens in the future again by just saying its impossible and giving up just like that.

Thats why things never get done. :snoop:

:yeshrug: Maybe you should read up on this kind of stuff before just tossing out an idea that something can be done in cases like this.

Maybe you should read up on this kind of stuff before saying something cannot be done to lessen damage from flooding. You wont know until you try. :manny:

I have, and the city has, but again 17 inches of rain is an immense amount. I don't think you realize just how much rain that is. There isn't always an answer breh. Sometimes mother nature will just win.
