GasLamp has been getting bad pub all over Twitter etc.. I've never tried to go there, and now I definitely won't, but that is the type of shyt that has people gravitating away from Midtown.
The google reviews are killing them and it looks like these three dudes weren't the first to experience this either.

Lol are you going? I might dip through there late in the evening, I'm almost sure Dwele will be the closing act.

Lol I am thinking about it. I have to see how Sat. plays out. Yea he doesn't come on until 915 pm according to their website.

I've been in a small piece of the tunnel, but never really just explored it. Heard from a city big wig that there is discussion to actually close it, because the restaurants and store are outcompeting the aboveground businesses........:francis:....kinda funny considering this is a town that prides itself on on free enterprise and businesses able to compete :dame:

"When Is the Tunnel Open? The Tunnel is open during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. It is closed at night, on weekend, and national holidays."

I think the Tunnel should be open during the weekends and Holidays. I get the whole security risk and additional officers needed but with the addition of Discovery Green and all these new residential towers going up in downtown, I think having a below ground shopping area would be great. Besides that, wouldn't that help above ground businesses since many people would venture above ground in the evenings and nights?

Just my two cents.

Why all the libraries close so early :wtf:
They're outdated. No one barely goes anymore because internet and e-books are easily accessible. I even go to the local worksource and fax forms off for free instead of paying the library 25c a page.
I was gonna take my kids this summer because they usually have a reading program but it was only open from 12p - 5p.
