True...but Uber costs can add up pretty quickly if you want to visit site to site. Especially if you're with a group.Great date idea... ..... is it free
Uber, for what's it worth is changing that, even thought it involves a car, doesn't involve any car issues..

The Menil is one the best museums in the country. Houston's lucky to have that in their city.
when u say bus route are u referring to the rail or the metro bus?The best way is probably taking the Metrorail Redline. In theory if you are willing to, you can walk around Downtown, Convention center district, Rice Village, Hermann Park, and Rice University. I would also advice people to take the Number 2 bus route. Holcombe/Bellaire to me at least, is the most interesting bus route. It takes you through the rich areas, the poor Latino areas, and the working class Asian/international areas. That street to me is a good idea in feeling the essence of Houston.
Just my 2 cents.
Number 2 bus is the actual metro buswhen u say bus route are u referring to the rail or the metro bus?
my man..do me a favorI'll keep it in this thread. That is a better idea.
This is the Bethel Church redesigned after the great fire that destroyed it. The location is in Freetown (now just Midtown). The roads were originally built of bricks because the people that lived in Freetown were former slaves. The city of Houston at the time didn't want to help the former slave build anything so they built Freetown completely through stretch. There is a very good African-American library that has great exhibits.
