Felt like a setup episode . Daemon and Aegon scenes were the only outstanding plot points . Rhae and Alicent meeting was okay . Everything else was mad fillerish

I don't think any of it was filler, but it was a lot of board moving. Joffrey, Rhaena and her lil brothers shipped to the Vale. Cole, Gwayne and the crownland armies out in the field. Daemon taking Harrenhall. A dude claiming he is a Targaryen b*stard/half-brother of Daemon. First battle of the war between the strongest armies in the Riverlands, with both the greens and blacks setting out to add them to their side.

I think with Riverrun its where it’s strategically located, its like the middle of the continent

Its also so huge that it can comfortable house any army that any Westerosi lord can muster.

There's no other title in the world that can lift a man that high up the ladder so fast.
