This weekend I made the mistake of watching a few episodes of Season 3 of GOT before watching this episode and yeah…this shyt weak.

Like I went from seeing Tywin, Tyrion, Cersei, etc making moves to seeing Daemon hallucinating in Harrenhal again with 2 episodes left in the season, wtf!!

The payoff for Daemon's experience better be amazing for how much they are harping on this shyt

Interesting that the writers have brought Rhaenyra's bisexuality into the show. It's heavily implied in Fire and Blood that Rhaenyra and Laena were romantic/sexual companions along with Daemon, so a lot of the book readers were upset that they cut this dynamic from the show in season 1. Maybe they heard that and decided to add that back into the mix.

It's funny because Fire and Blood has a ton of sexual fukkery, all kinds of implied threesomes and adultery and lesbian relationships and brothel happenings that any other showrunner would have went wild it. D&D would have damn near turned HotD into a porno if they were adapting it

But Condal has toned down a lot of the most scandalous and salacious details and I'm somewhat surprised by how tame it is even with foot fetish shyt and an on screen blowjob.

I saw this last night and the book readers better take what’s served. Take what they gave in that episode or accept the Rhae/Laena relationship of two young girls discovering their sexuality with a grown Daemon in the background saying “awwww yeeeeahhh”. Then a whole other conversation will get started.

Its kind of funny now this ep is out that it was the cause of that random dragon rant GRRM posted on his blog, he specifically said that a Dragon would never flight to the Vale by itself.

This is not a spoiler since they changed it completely in the show but that dragon was supposed to be one of the wild ones in Dragonstone, and plenty of people died trying to bond with it.

I didn't like the change because it makes no fukking sense that there is a huge dragon in the in The Vale and no one knew about it, the Targs would had occupied the whole region until the Dragon was captured or kill.
