LOL at you thinking any dumb noob can become the mother fukking President of the United States. Not only do you have to be extremely intelligent with a degree from an elite tier school, you also have to be charismatic, cunning, and a natural leader. Presidents damn near have to convince 100s of politicians to follow them and maneuver and strategize to the top BEFORE the congressional stage even starts. You think being in the running for the President is easy money, b? Obama had to work his ass off to get where he got BEFORE the congressional part which is no easy task itself. Then they have to convince most of America that THEY are the one who can bring change while keeping a majority the politicians on their side. Not to mention all the other shyt behind the scenes like strategically planning how to deal with the media and Congress while still appealing to both. AND this is just the tip of the iceberg. Lol at you thinking becoming one of the most powerful people in the world is NOT strategically intense as fukk, and probably one of the most difficult tasks in the world. If you want to become President, say goodbye to necessities like sleeping and enjoying the simple things in life.

Try again breh, lol at all that bullshyt you just wrote. There were rumors that Reagan had early stage Alzheimer's disease when he was still in office. He was basically a gimp the last years of his second term. I would not be surprised if George H W Bush was a Frank Underwood type pulling the strings.
Yeah the president has executive power, but he still has be somewhat balanced in his views so not to enrage either party. Nowadays the president has an army of advisers basically telling him what to do.
I know this is state level example, but you honestly think Arnold schwarzenegger could run a state without some people advising him?
You just know Obama counting the days when he can make the real money, when he gets out of office, being a consultant, speaking tours etc.
Reagan fit all the criteria except graduating from Harvard or somewhere equivalent. The thing about Reagan was that he was extremely charismatic. When he talked, you listened. Yes, his popularity helped with his election, but like I said, even before the congressional stage, he had to work his way to the top. And that task is not a joke.
Presidents do have advisors, of course. But my statement was the process in getting there. Being able to work your way to the top to being the single most powerful man in America is one the most difficult tasks, <THAT was my point. I do believe once in office a President's power is restricted (Checks & Balances). Hell, most presidents are just a nice smile for the public, whilst being trapped in a room not being able to bring the change they dreamed of, because of the separation of powers. But that doesn't change the fact that BECOMING the President is no easy task.
Bush was probably some conniving fukk. And comparing him to Underwood proves my point.. Underwood is not some idiot who could be blackmailed and persuaded like some kid like Walker was. Walker was damn near retarded. Presidents could never be such simpletons, because they themselves intelligently manuevered and cunningly pushed to the top themselves.
LOL at comparing becoming the Governor of California to becoming the United States president.
Nikka what the fukk are you even saying? You said a President can never be a chump, and I just said Ronald Reagan had fukken Alzheimer's disease when he was in office. You think he was in the right mind to make important decisions? And he was old as fukk. Of course he had nikkas telling him what to do especially in the last years of his second term.
Now going back to the fictional show known as the House of Cards, Walker likes Underwood, thinks of him as a friend. I have heard Season 1 commentary, and they wanted the actor to approach playing Walker as someone who is brand new to being a president, play up being unsure on what to do. Having to lean on his advisors on what to do.
finally finished season 2
that boy Frank's plot game is crazy...
