It's like the writers were trying to piss off cac conservatives. They gave u everything. You had your lesbian scene. You had your interracial scene, gay oral and gay kissing and it was two cac no less.

I missed Zoey but I understand why she had to be got.

The only thing that irked me was president walker. How u gonna role with a goon like Tusk for that long and not be sharp. Underwood was able to manipulate him too easily. Even when I caught on to Underwood's bullshyt you mean to tell me he let him back in on the strength of a damn letter.

They need to just kill Meechum fakkit as nikka kissed frank before Claire so it's obvious he's gay.

I wouldn't have an issue with Spacey or Wright winning awards for their performances, but this show isn't really all that good but it will win a shytload of awards because we're supposed to like it.

Yeah, the writing is too in love with itself. There are only so many times an episode can be carried by powerful men poking each other in the eye and Frank outmanuevering all comers with his ethereal guile. Also, too many of the subplots were dull. I enjoyed the show overall, but I wouldn't rate it up there with even the second tier good cable shows of the past decade.

I have to agree, this really threw me off. I mean the president had to know how cunning frank is. He literally doesn't have anyone to be like "Frank is playing you, can't you see that?" Also, I am surprised why no one is questioning Frank's rise to power so quickly, usually those news pundits are on it. I have to put the blame on Netflix though, usually if this was on tv, it would go a couple of seasons before Frank became went where he went.

I started rewatching and I am on episode 2 right now, and Robin Wright basically has the Emmy on lock right now, I mean wow. :wowwow2:

How come so many ppl finding this hard to believe?

I mean look at how fast our actual president rose to power in comparison to those before him

I admire the Underwood's marriage. They GET each other. So often I see couples together that aren't really compatible, perhaps to avoid loneliness. I don't judge though

Excellent season. I can only watch high quality shows now. I was watching Walking Dead last night & felt like I was really wasting my time when you have shows like House of Cards, True Detective, etc that strive to give excellence every episode.

A question for those that have finished the season

What do yall think about Frank willing to get his hands dirty? I've thought about this. On one hand, I'd figure a guy like Frank would have goons take care of it for him. On another, since he killed Peter & Zoe himself, there's no one to really snitch on him. No one knows, therefore those incidents are contained. Yeah in season 1, he gave Doug the heads up that something may have happened to Peter, but nothing more needed to be said.

Frank's a very smart guy that plans ahead, but is able to react quickly & improvise on the spot. I believe with both murders, his intentions weren't to kill them, but each time a great opportunity presented itself that he had to do it & it made sense.

I'm interested if we will get to see Frank kill again as President of United States. I just can't see it, but who knows.
