Yeah I can understand the difference. The Thing is about lack of communication and how not being open can lead to mistrust. Yes a lot of men would have ended up in the same situation as Childs and MaCreed.

That’s the issue - she had no friends. She had no life outside of her boyfriend’s “world”. The murder suicide of her family, left her with nothing. She was already loose and emotionally unstable to begin with.

I'm also wanted more onscreen kills. I enjoy watching how practical effects are used.

I get it but..That would have taken away from the shock value for this. I love my slashics too but this movie wasn’t the right tone for it. That old lady bodying herself on the cliff was enough for me
