Wes' initial script made him unlikable. He got rewritten homie. That's my point. Wes always wanted to make him tougher and the powers that be wanted to soften him up. Just saying

They could have cut certain scenes in Midsommar, agreed, especially that scene where she was high and passed out, started hallucinating in the trees, that was extra. Dr. Sleep was close to 3 hrs - I didn’t notice that either, it was that interesting. I know my attention span is shyt so for me not to notice how long it was, that’s crazy lol.

The directors cut is a little over 3 hrs. Movie is fire. It’s a shame the Overlook Hotel prequel isn’t getting made because this movie didn’t do great in the box office. Smh.

Saw this yesterday. Thought it was really good.

curious though, I’ve never read either of the books but from what I understand the hotel burns down in The Shining book. If that’s the case, what goes down in the end of the Doctor Sleep book?
