@2Quik4UHoes did Abiy make some secret deal w/ woyane that I don't know about? Apparently, he met with the guy who organized the Uber Transition Gov't last year in Nigeria. I don't know wtf he's doing in Amhara. Dude is moving funny.

Been listening to this discussion. Its very dark but interesting context of what is going on for a person like me. Forced famine :damn:

I listened to this, both guests white-wash TPLF crimes over the last two decades and their role in instigating this current conflict. 1.5 hours and they don’t even talk about Amahara ethnic cleansing in Welkait, TPLF rebels attempting to overthrow the government last year. They brush over TPLF leadership refusing to accept the EECB border ruling and the Algiers agreement with Eritrea. They are not some innocent party in all of this. Awet is a prominent scholar but he is also willing to ignore these things to serve his main interests of getting PIA out in Eritrea.

The only way there could ever really be peace is through full scale liquidation of subversive and violent elements from within the country. Ethnic federalism is a resounding failure and needs to be eliminated. The failure of the revolution as well as the destructive long term consequences of the Italian occupation in the 30s reverberates through history into today.

What makes this harder though is that there’s a whole section of the diaspora living comfortably in the West that is funding this violence, encouraging it through false rhetoric, and building consensus with outside groups under false claims of freedom struggles, genocides, and humanitarian blockades. Ethiopia and the region at large could come together, lift itself up, make use of the abundance of valuable resources that have yet to be tapped, and honor our furthest direct ancestors that made fire and spoke the first words thousands of years before an Amhara or Tigray or Oromo even existed. The fact that my people have such a dearth of knowledge of self is evident in how easily manipulated many of us are today. If anyone ever needed a Malcolm, Ethiopians (in fact all Africans) do!

If I’m honest, I’ve become incredibly cynical towards the world during all this. It’s shown me how absolutely shallow the majority of people can be. It’s proven to me how absolutely fake and fabricated the whole notion of a “rules based system” and “international law” really is. We live in a world where white neuroticism advertised as supremacy imposes itself on the world in such a way that as human beings we’re convinced that this is somehow ideal or correct. Only Hurricane Katrina left me with my worldview shifted so soundly.

I wished to see a strong Ethiopia as an ally to anchor a strong Somalia. That hood is pretty much gone with this brewing civil war on steroids. What the Tigray say the Fano are doing is being done to them by the OLF, who had the same things done to them by the Tigray. It’s easy to divide and conquer a people who have been trained to hate eachother.

I’m sorry they railroaded Farmajo, breh. I can at least say we attempted to do better. It’s really sad to know that the only one that ever had our region together was that cac piece of shyt Mussolini.

Ethiopia’s problem is pride. They’ve had their identities weaponized against them and they’re too prideful to see that they need more knowledge of self and humbleness instead of being a pompous fascist toward your own kind. These crackers got a lot of my folks very well trained. I still believe things can turn around but from the people I’ve talked to in the know this might turn into a larger scale version of Rwanda. I fukkin hate the West.

I am not sure if you guys are following the development from Somaliland, but the presidential elections are supposed to be held on Nov 2022, but the current President is not committing to holding it.. there's a showdown between the ruling party and the opposition in Somaliland currently.

Also Ethiopia backed down from their deal of using Berbera port.

So how did we get from TPLF vs Everyone to Everyone vs Everyone? And does the TPLF end up on top again because of it?

This is the west playbook and the only kind of victories they can muster. Divide and conquer. Impoverish a people then buy their influence cheaply. It’s cruel colonialism against defenceless people. This is the wars that they win but when they make their faces and intentions known, they get sent home in bags. Never forget Blackhawk down… one tribe sent the UN forces home who had several special forces of the US and advanced helicopters. That’s one tribe of one ethnic group in one city. The region is too hostile to control directly so they use the group with the most hate in their hearts politically; TPLF. Trusty globalist ally. To put them back on top is worth wasting millions of lives to Washington and London. Control for its own sake.
