He’s too focused on looking downfield. He’s holding the ball waiting for some long ass route to develop and not realizing what’s happening on the rest of the field.
He left probably 200 yards on the field because he misses every underneath route. Chubb could have had 10 catches that game. The Niners knew Baker didn’t have the ability to get the ball out quick enough to punish their blitzes.

The worst part is people have been saying for weeks that Baker needs to stop looking to score every play and take what the defense gives him. Freddie Kitchens even said Baker needs to take the check down and chill with launching terrible passes downfield into coverage. But here we are in week 5 and he's making the same mistakes he made in week 1...
I dunno if its poor coaching, Baker is just stupid/stubborn, or he just sucks.....shyt maybe its a combo of all 3. But they gotta fix that shyt or else Kitchens wont be there next year.
