and those prices he listed are STILL too expensive as is in this current economy...26K for an EV car people can barely afford to rent a house nikka!!!
![]()
People who can't afford their rent aren't in the market for new cars, they're buying used if they can get another car at all.
If you think car companies should drop electric because Americans can't afford a $26k car, are you going to tell them to drop all gas engine lines over $26k too? Cause that's like 90% of their gas engine volume.![]()
I debunked his exact claims already, dumbass, in addition to pointing out that he wasn't a valid source. You just accepted them at face value, without evidence, cause you're an idiot.
Wait, did you just attack the source of the comment cause you can't defend the subject?
What "real world experience" are you even talking about, did I miss @ORDER_66 telling us the real world price of electric cars? Did he ever claim that he went EV shopping in the real world? I listed the EXACT prices you can buy them at right now, are you claiming those aren't true? You do realize you can buy shyt on the internet, right?
Still doesnt change what i said...![]()
But it makes what you said meaningless.
The large majority of Americans who are in the market for a new car can afford an electric car. So telling companies they should ditch EVs cause "Americans can't afford them" is complete nonsense. They could increase their EV sales volume by over 10-fold from current levels and they still wouldn't be anywhere near worrying about the consumer base you're referring to.
Not to mention that you're still ignoring the fact electricity is much cheaper than gas, and in the future this will be only more true. And electricity doesn't fluctuate like crazy based off of the whims of Putin and Arab dictators. So if you actually care about American consumers, then pushing for affordable EVs seems a hell of a lot smarter than ditching EVs.
EV's are too risky and still too expensive... good luck fixing EV's when that battery breaks...![]()
On average a cheap ICE car is a better buy than an EV... why do you think EV's not selling... people not stupid they realize the numerous issues EV has...
right now EV's are not feasable to even have and own for many reasons...deal with it...
Nissan Leaf batteries last about 10 years and are fully warrentied for 8 years and 100,000 miles. That's longer than most people keep a new car.

Do you actually have the slightest experience or information on any of this shyt, or are you just making it up based on what you've seen on right-wing twitter?
Who the fukk told you that EVs aren't selling?
EVs are selling like crazy. There have been more EVs sold since 2021 than in the entire history of car sales before 2021. And I already posted you data showing that the # of people seriously considering an EV right now is 4x higher than the number who already own one.
Then why the fukk are they selling so well?
Elon Musk's new EV truck looks like shyt and is having all sorts of production issues, and there are still over a million preorders for it. I think that will only translate to 300k or 400k actual sales, but that's still insane for a product that isn't even off the line yet. Claiming that no one can buy an EV is some sort of bizarre wish fulfillment, it's not reality.
you saying all this shyt and how many issues these EV cars been having with computer malfunctions, the cars brake systems killing people. cameras not detecting human bodies and hitting people. cars shutting down on the road.
whatever bruh enjoy your ev no skin off my back..![]()
Goddamn, the number of goalposts moves you've pulled in rapid succession is fukking insane.
WTF does a car's computer malfunction, brake system, or full auto driving have to do with whether it's electric or not? Are you seriously trying to equate hyped-up Tesla news with all EVs?
I'll take your 11 people or whatever dead from full auto driving (which has NOTHING to do with gas engine vs. electric), and raise you 58,000 people dying due to breathing in car exhaust. Are those lives irrelevant to you?

More Americans die from car pollution than car accidents
Some day our descendants will marvel that we ever lived in cities filled with emissions direct from the tailpipes of cars. A new study from MIT suggests that in the US, 53,000 people a year die prematurely because of automobile pollution, compared to 34,000 people a year who die in traffic...qz.com

Infrastructure isn’t there yetThis is what poor leadership looks like. EV's are the future. These people woulda stuck to making horse shoes instead of automobiles 100 years ago.![]()
Edit: Let me ask you a straight up question which one you buying a 26K EV car which you know the repairs with 4X cost to fix or an lexus GS350 for 8K
This example is so weirdly specific it’s hilarious
Why a 15 year old GS 350?
This is who @the cac mamba trusts for his takes on electric cars:
Daniel Turner @DanielTurnerPTF
Founder & Executive Director of @PowerTheFuture
| Fighting for American energy, exposing the socialist radical green lies. Sheep & cattle farmer.
This is why you stay aggressively ignorant.
And his points were nonsense. Claiming they "lose $36k on every car" tells you nothing if they had just now started the product line. And claiming that most Americans wouldn't buy an EV appears to be false, latest gallup poll shows 59% of Americans are considering an EV and 41% say they will not.
If just 4% of Americans currently own an EV, but 12% are seriously considering one right now and 43% others might consider one in the future, how the fukk has the "bubble burst"? That's a potential market over TEN TIMES higher than the current market.
