Been nerding out to CNN’s 24-part documentary on the Cold War...this is after binging on docs ranging from slavery, to colonialism, to the gilded age, to WWII. All I can conclude is stupid ass Europeans (inclusive of America) high key fukked up the entire world. I mean, the Chinese and Japanese also pulled off some fukk shyt in Asia, which may have been a global disturbance if not for the Europeans fukking up everything before they could take over.

Euros slaughtered themselves over in Europe, then raided and raped Africa, the Americas, and SW and SE Asia. The wars they fought, the wars they caused via colonialism and the random drawing of country borders, their “intervention” and “desire to stabilize” countries after causing war (US is included in this...we are Europe West) creates a whole cascade of (ongoing) conflicts..

Jesus Christ Wouldn’t mind if that whole continent had’ve died off in the Middle Ages, Black Plague should’ve went harder on them

I swear when you're educated on the bs, division, scapegoating and atrocities committed in the name of consumerism, capitalism and the pursuit insane profits really fukks with you....

It's why I advise people to make the trip back to Sub-Saharian African, for perspective. Black people need to see the good, bad, and disruptive elements of unchecked consumerism and capitalism.

Since making that trip for myself, I've turned into a real humble and minimalist person. Seeing people with absolutely nothing, not even indoor plumbing is some humbling shyt.

I really started to question shyt, after my professor in college had us reading confessions of an economic hitman. That shyt is just

You really see how people are wacked for trying enact change or when they don't "play" ball by corporatist or neoliberal entities.

Government subsidizes trains
Trains are more expensive than planes
There's 1 employee for every 4 customers
Pensions and Human Labor are a huge reason why its expensive.
Amtrak has a strong union
Most people who work for amtrak are have are salaries unioned members(median salary 75k), who work in support, not actually on the train.
I can't even finish watching this in good faith without knowing that Dead has a point.

Pretty bad false confession story. They were seeking the death penalty against this learning-disabled kid when the confession was obviously coerced, there was absolutely zero evidence tying him to the crime, someone else's blood, fingerprints, and shoeprint were actually found on the scene, and literally every fukking detail he gave about the killing in his confession was wrong.

The real killer stayed out an extra 3+ years because they stopped investigating all other leads the second they got the kid to confess.

People are really upset the Iran conflict fizzled out into sanctions and a downed airliner cover up. All because Trump got to look less like an idiot for 48 hours. Think about that; people were salivating for a regional conflict with potentially thousands of deaths just so they could be seen as right about an already proven fact: Trunp isn't fit to make command decisions.
