Yes and no.

Opiods run the gamut from heroin to percs. Most opiod abuse is from people snorting and swallowing percs, oxy, and/or injecting fenty. so I’m sure that lends to rises in HIV in some cases. But my point in-saying that is, you can be an opioid abuser and never inject anything.

But I’d also wager that in cities like Memphis Houston and Atlanta, a significant number of HIV carriers are not gay men or drug addicts.

Think about cities like Seattle, Portland, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, cities that have massive problems with intravenous drug abusers (and in the case of the West Coast cities also have a shyt ton of gay men) but their HIV rates are less than the southern cities. To me that indicates that there’s another factor that isn’t talked about.

The only time going raw is fine is in a monogamous relationship. I don't understand why people think IVFs, pull out method and that nonsense is supposed to protect you! Even casual oral sex has been known to cause higher rates of throat and mouth cancers.
