I'll say this, compared to the first two games, the main campaign is a bit short. 5 main sandbox levels, and one mission that's pretty linear. I was able to beat them pretty quickly and get SA ratings on maybe half, first try. That said, these locales are incredible. Although it seems like less content, IO went off. The English Manor level with the detective angle, is genius

ya I still want to play these games just not at these prices...the hitman 1 GOTY is reasonably priced...I’ll just start with that for now...it’s the hitman 2 gold edition that is unfairly priced imo

Ya if price is your concern, no rush. I'm sure it'll hit a lower price soon. This is one of my favorite franchises so I couldn't wait lol

ehh I just started to replay the first one that came out for last gen...I played it before and didn’t like the mechanics and didn’t think it was a fun stealth game...still feel that way...the stealth “system” feels arbitrary...case in point I can walk around with a huge ass tat on my bald ass head as a chef with nothing covering my head and will be “inconspicuous” as long as I walk the right path...but dressed as a cop from head to toe with my face slightly obscured I’m somehow automatically spotted by a cop who isn’t really near me...or I can walk up to security and they’ll turn me away cuz of how I’m dressed but won’t say anything when I show up a few seconds later wearing different clothes...I don’t like when/where the game picks and chooses to to be “realistic”...I’ll wait til it goes on deep sale or something...graphics look great but I’m certain I still won’t be a fan of the game mechanics...I have too many unfinished games to “force” myself to rush and play this

Everyone complained about the more realistic mechanics when they dropped on the hitman game that released before the reboot

if I wanted to act like a real hitman then I wouldn’t be traipsing about with a bar code tatted dead center in the middle of my head and there’d be more options to enter rooms/locations...nikka dead ass crawling thru windows in front of security after they turned him away from the entrance and they don’t say shyt but can make me out from across a crowded room in disguise lol...the game still is low key fun but lets not act like it’s some super realistic assassin simulator...dude just straight up climbed a big ass fence in front of 5-6 security guards and no one said/heard anything lol...I just coached a nikka into ejecting himself from a plane in a room full of guards and other mechanics and just did an about face and walked out like nothing happened without being stopped lol

the original games probably won’t be on sale digitally for a while so as to not undercut the price of the access passes...the thing is after playing the practice missions a bit more I started liking the game a bit...the story itself doesn’t seem that involved imo...it’s the type of game where I can just pick up do a mission or two here and there and put it down...these console prices are outrageous tho
