Yeah, but I'm saying that Hindu nationalism, like these European groups, deliberately draws on Nazism, so it's more than just extremists coincidentally ending up with Hitlerian similarities. There are pockets of intentional identification with Hitler.

Yup, in the 30s I believe in Iran and Afghanistan there were Nazi sympathies on account of the "Aryan" connection. it wasnt tied to anti semetism in the least bit, seems to be an outlet for ultra nationalism

the fascists were really gaining ground before they went overboard. I saw some quote from a pan africanist type guy from that era saying something like he organized his people before Mussolini did so the fascists ain't all that

I wasn't aware India was promised their freedom for fighting in WWI.
I've got part of Churchills Biography downstairs. He wasn't much of a leader and I don't put him on a pedestal.

At least you got a language and infrastructure you've made out better than a lot of countries.

Yet here we are in the present day and Indians have an admiration for Hitler. If you were making the argument for Indians during WWII it's slightly more understandable although unbelievably selfish.
At least Indians of the time can argue ignorance right?
Some indians of the day thought they might get better treatment and a fair deal from the Nazis, and that may have been downright understandable:
