Love hate relationship with Spike. Love some of his movies but his personality can be somewhat annoying at times. However, the question was dumb as fukk. Movies take A LOT of money and are typically financed by movie production studios. If you want to go completely independent, kick starter is a great way to do it, and if people want to donate that's their own prerogative. I just donated to Adam Corolla to help finance his new movie that he's making because I enjoyed his boxing comedy movie "The Hammer" a lot.
