Being from Texas
This story doesn't surprise me at all.
Like I have always said many many times. I felt more prejudice and racism from Mexicans in Texas than White people in Texas.
And Yes Mexicans do have the power to be racist towards Blacks in Texas. You see it in the cities councils and school boards. Even in local government places like the post office, tax office, court house, etc.
What funny is Mexicans didn't out number Blacks in Dallas until 2000. It's like they said fukk them nikkas once they started out numbering Blacks in the city.
I always had this suspicion when it cames to Mexicans and other Hispanics, but mainly Mexicans. Mexicans seem to be a numbers people. Unlike black people who has always fought oppression without numbers; it seems that Mexicans depend on numbers a lot. I notice that when an area is majority black, Mexicans and other Hispanics are all smiles in blacks faces. But when the demographic changes and they are the majority they say F it to blacks. I hear the same story with blacks in Florida when it comes to Cubans. I seriously do not know why blacks are so naive of Mexican/Hispanic racism. What happened in Southern California should have been a wake up call for blacks to never trust other minority groups.
