Anyways back on topic. Like I said out of every Hispanic group; Puerto Ricans are blacks closest allies due to having close bonds for the longest. Many Puerto Ricans I met were chill with black people. Heck even heard Puerto Ricans who are pale and look no different than whites try to say they are black or have black in their family to be down. I don't know about Puerto Ricans in the islander. I heard they are a different story, but here in the states Puerto Ricans are blacks biggest allies.

We don't have a long bond in the USA with Mexicans. And unlike Mexicans Puerto Ricans have not only more African ancestry but their culture is more African influenced compared to Mexican culture.

The ricans I know have nothing but contempt for us. I don't fukk with them at all.

Just read through most of the thread,crazy seeing how other ppl see you,I'm mexican by the way,born and raised in LA,south central to be exact,mom always had us living in predominantly black neighborhoods,through middle school I lived in Rollin 20's hood,High School in Harlem crips,now I'm living close to Rollin 60's,I was never one to stay inside the house,so I grew up playing outside,running around the streets,fighting and all that,with black people. It even feels weird to even say black people,cuz to me they just people from my neighborhood.I never really experienced any racism from any of them,never got called a wet back,spic or beaner or any of that.Yea I know racism exist,I can tell you from my own family,I have some Ese cousins,that would always give me shyt,cuz they knew I was "down" with black people,that I dressed like them,liked them,dated and had crushes on black girls,didn't know Spanish,that if I had a broader nose i would basically be black.i have also had uncles talk to me from prison,telling me to fall back from them,cuz in the end,they wouldn't have my back no matter how good I got along,that I had to stay with my own people,cuz when push comes to shove,I'd be just a mexican to em,and it's true,from seeing all this post,I guess I've always lived blind,always being cool with everyone,regardless of race,cuz I seen that posters here already feel some type of way towards me but never met me,I was actually surprised by @Malta stance,cuz he is one of the real good posters on here that I always respect his opinion on most topics,but it is wat

you're judging what a handful of people think...that shouldn't change your outlook on how you feel based on other people's opinion...just like blacks will ride with you...I'm sure there are mexicans that will ride with us.

Who said anything about accepting? I doubt I as an agnostic will EVER be accepted by a Muslim group. The thing is I never knew Blacks and Middle Easterners were friends, I too have heard bad stories between the relations of Middle Easterners and Blacks.

some other black groups have identified with arab and muslim identity longer than anything they can remember. You can call them whatever you want..... but if a persons family has been a certain way for damn near 1000 years and there really isn't much to identify with longer.... then you can't blame them.

You can't be a black person who doesn't know which specific African tribes you're from and don't know your own personal history ..... then turn around and hate on the Real history of other blacks.
