You just revere the controversy and that's all....

Right now the south is the only thing keeping Hip hop innovative and fresh

I miss the samples/punchlines/metaphors/storylines but we've got Cole/Kendrick covering that

Eitherway music is entertainment now... not a force for social change

QUOTE="Knicksman20, post: 16040819, member: 15750"]I think they have but I also think us allowing cacs to dictate what's hot also contributed to the demise of hip hop. The south has always churned out that one hit wonder music, but when that kind of music became the forefront is what put the nail in the coffin

Please name these innovative southern artists...If you're thinking of mentioning Future or Migo's don't reply

lol at saying the south ruined hiphop when the south showed everyone how to make money WITHOUT labels by making music that's true to your region without worrying about what any other region is doing. If what three 6, rap a lot, no limit, cash money, etc. accomplished isn't hiphop then I don't know what is.

I dont listen to trash music so hiphop has never died to me. I get the best shyt from all coasts, all styles.

nikkas just mad cos what they want isnt on the radio & they too :flabbynsick: to have their ear to the streets to know who is good.
End of the day most people just want to be led like sheep, they dont want to find good music & they want to complain because they lazy.

what you want is out there so how can hiphop be ruined?
