Hip hop artists react to The universal acclaim kendrick's album is getting

The entertainment business in general is filled with dikk riders, yes men, wave jumpers and sheep who are going to praise the fukk out of this album because everyone else is. Don't tell me behind closed doors they are hating it because that fall into line aspect leaks into every part of em. And you know I am right on that one....

To be fair though, the Industry IS known to have fake motherfukkers and a lot of sheisty shyt does go down... Word on the street was that after Control, Kendrick nearly got blackballed and he's still hated to this day. Only reason it backfired was because apparently since Jay, Pharrell and other musical legends were in his corner, it would've never gone that far. So what he's saying isn't that much of a stretch. But luckily for Kendrick, he's doing fine with his own camp and Cole nearby.

Actually verse for verse aside from the name dropping..Big Sean's verse was damn near just as good as Kendricks..and no..it's for name dropping him and calling him out on his own track...took the attention away from what Sean was tryna do wit the song and made the shyt all about himself..all cause he wanted attention..it was a fukked up move on Kendricks part...and Big Sean took that shyt and ate it like a sucka..

I read somewhere that Sean didn't know Kendrick was gonna do that wit the track...Kendrick sent his verse in last and they released the song anyway rather than it leaking...I heard Jay Elec wasn't too happy about it either...why would Big Sean purposely leave it off his album?..yet release it RIGHT before his album drops?...and his excuse for not putting it on the album was terrible and flat out untrue...he was tryna save face like a muhfukka...u had cats Cam for instance straight shyttin on Big Sean for lettin that rock...

I think the only people who fukk with him out of that whole situation is Cole, Mac Miller and Pusha. I COULD say Meek cause he did post the Kendrick XXL article on IG and said he was on point, but... there's a difference between agreeing with what someone says and actually fukking with them.

But as for Sean... that's really on him. If I were mentioned on Control, I would've been like "Alright, I see you Kendrick... " and then went RIGHT into the studio and work on making something incredible. Everybody else caught feelings and then decided to not fukk with him anymore. Is that his fault? In some ways. But he wanted to make the culture more vicious and competitive, which let's be honest, we ALL have said and wanted that to happen.

And being honest? Kendrick doesn't NEED the approval of Drake and Co. anyway. It's not like they can lock the gate on him when Dr. Dre, of all people, was the one who gave him the stamp. He can just kick it with the TDE/Shady/Aftermath/Dreamville camp and do his shyt.

There was really no point for him to name drop them like that...he didn't even bother to clear shyt up right away when he felt people got the "wrong idea"...he let the whole shyt just fester and the verse didn't even have a means to an end...plus he switched his story up on why he wrote the verse and how it came about like 2 or 3 times...most of the nikkas he mentioned helped him or showed love one way or another...he knew the reaction he would get for that shyt...

Willing to bet it's jealousy. You never know, he might've said some slick shyt and done some questionable shyt behind the scenes, but being real... Out of anyone popping right now, who's albums are getting the Universally Acclaimed stamp? Matter fact, it's the same reason why I also hear through the grapevine they want Drake to fall too, even more than Kendrick.
