Anyone watching?? Great season so far.
Yup. I watch. Jackie is literally getting everybody killed. She needs to stick to River Patrol on the boats where she can’t interact with people. Bet she’s going to get her “adopted” father figure who she partners with dead- I’m calling it now. Hes showing up in scenes more than usual and he’s talking about retiring, based off the the sanest person on the show. His life is going too in order , he has morals, just wants to live a quiet life, do right but everyone, - prime character to end up dying tragically.

and anytime this man shows up in a series, extreme fukkery will be following, as predicted

what’s the premise?

*edit*

nvm…saw the trailer
If you want to watch white trash drugged up cacs off each other, overdose, commit crimes, be horrible parents, and bow down to Latino cartels who stunt on them repeatedly , while running behind alcoholic corrupt police detectives- it’s like a white trash dumbed down version of The Wire but based in some seaside town in Massachusetts except every third character is the white equivalent of “Bubbles”, and instead of crack, it’s white people opiod heads; with a few subplots or them dealing with some form of addiction along with the usual shady cac cops involved in a scheme and a super simp cac cop who falls in love with a white stripper - fukkery/mayhem ensues.

I find it hilarious. The white accounts behind the IMDb reviews are mad asf trying to downgrade the show. White audiences sit around and exploit black poverty or stereotypes - it becomes an Emmy nominated show. Shows that do the dive into the ills of white society, their vices and negatives in their community don’t get promoted or gain a following of the equivalent. That’s one of the reasons I’m watching - they always try to put the perception that white communities are above reproach, when their reality on these types of shows is more fact than fiction with no redeemable characters - watching them take each other out is entertainment

Edit- first season is better than this second season bc of shock value cycle of stupidity in that town. Nothing but a sea of bad decisions (pun intended).

:salute:fellow watcher. :myman:

Can you tell me a part of the last episode I didn't understand

so Ray goes to the fast food joint and is talking to that kid and said hook me up with your drug dealer and the guy says yeah meet me in an hour etc.

Was he the same guy that Ray and that fat black guy beat up? but for what reason??

How did he find out Ray did that setup??

Didn't Ray have him get into an altercation with Kizzle at the bar?

Great episode.

Daisy dying was very predictable but I thought Luis Guzman was gonna do it.

I wasn't expecting that part at the end, should make for some good fukkery

:ohhh:I may need to rewatch that last part myself. Ray is hard to keep up with even for me. He got into a fight at that bar he worked out. Ray has so much dysfunctional stuff with him going on- I was confused about that too. This season is faster paced than last season between his personal life, family, wife, the stripper he knocked up, him trying to get back his job, taking penitentiary chances with his life - he is everywhere.

The way that they have the little black girl (Osito's cousin) giving out orders to the cartel on her boss chick type moves is :picard:- idk whether to be impressed at how she is moving in those circles or worried about that she might be in over her head in the future, directing orders to the old men and leveraging, negotiating. Isnt she like still in high school? No way that she can be more than 16-18,
:deadmanny::deadmanny:
That scene with her riding on the private jet solo holding weight, and her little sitter posted up in a seaside luxury condo lol. Compared to the scene where she asks the pilot if she can see how the plane operates as an excited child seeing the big plane for the first time, and her playing video games with her sister- like their "regular" kids - that contrast is crazy with how dominant she is. I think they did that to show how much of a "child" that she really is underneath all of the tough, show no emotion exterior that she puts on for business. I like how they are giving her more character development this season. She's smarter than any of the adults on this show, it seems lol. She makes more sensible decisions :deadrose:
if something happens to her or her sister, I will stop watching this show. They can miss me with that. That's where i draw the line. Also, the lead sergeant or Captain Alan - that's another deal breaker for me. He better not let Ray with his bullshyt bring him down. The smart intellectual black man walking the right path v the reckless white alcoholic who disobeys all the rules detective as his "partner", is giving me City on the Hill vibes. They keep showing his wife and newborn baby alot more this season; which seems like foreshadowing that his cartel investigation may have an affect. or Jacky doing her desperation detective-ing which manages to make things worse each episode. She's so goofy- a kindhearted dumbass.

Another great episode.

Loved the scene with the girl and black cop. That guy is a good actor.

Plot moving along good.

Anyone not watching this show really needs to get on this.

Only been two good episodes this season. This was one of them. The possibility of the season ending in so many different ways keeps it interesting
