WTF ? Do you idiots think before you type ?
If it weren't for intelligent forward thinking individuals we wouldn't even
be having this conversation right now because there would be no internet.
Stop crying and provide some real feedback in a convo.
Personally as a society I think we simply DO NOT value education.
Society doesn't value people for knowledge, not education.
If people could see that education is something to be respected and look at teachers as people who matter a great deal in society we might see some change.
I agree.
We've already seen some ignorant @ss responses regarding math in this very thread.
Imagine telling some dude who programs videogames for a living or someone who works out equations for firing missiles with pin point accuracy that "math doesn't put food on the table", he'd look at you like a damn fool and rightfully so.
It's him doing as he is told by his superiors that keeps him having a job for that food on the table. If you didn't do the requirement of what they ask...then no real good outcomes comes of it.Its like telling him "If you don't create this weapon of Mass Destruction to kill these people in a village, than you are fired and will be homeless"
I know architects, math whizzes that can't find jobs right now, so save your b.s.
