On the phone thing, yeah, cell phone corporations essentially sold predatory plans to parents with teenagers, with very complex and impossible to adhere to pricing structures, involving calls and texts, and complicated time restrictions. No fukking teenager was going to do that. They knew kids would go over, and parents would cover it.

I went over so much, I had to give my Mom like $350 in drug money cash to cover my bill.

I was poor in HS had 4 pairs of jeans my entire HS
I only had one pair of sneakers the entire school year :mjlol:

I didn't care though, I had fun on weekends :ehh:

After I graduated, the one and only job I ever had, for a year and a half, I only bought like one pair of sneakers the entire time :heh: Didn't care about getting fresh in 2011 - 2012 :manny: If I had disposable $$$ in the early to mid 2000s and was a little older I know I would have went nuts buying clothes made by those urban fashion brands.

Pretty much the last few years before social media took over. Dudes would still be outside hanging and talking. No cell phones and people were more social, shyt was so fun. I feel bad for teenagers nowadays they missed out big time.
