Here's my rebuttal to this. What are these inaccuracies that you seem to hold over the movie on and why don't you just try to schedule a debate or just contact Tariq about it and go on the show via phone?? I've heard him debate some closet white nationalist about other issues so why you just debating novices of black history on a message board? Either way if there is any inaccuracy that would go back to the source right? Not the messenger himself.

This is what you Tariq dikkriders always say. Quite frankly, I've heard the man argue before. He's quite childish when he's wrong. And I don't have the time to argue that shyt with a man who won't admit he's wrong, especially when there's nothing for me to gain from it and he's damn sure not gonna gain anything from it. Lose-lose for both of us. No one I know fukks with dude at all so it's not like I can get props for that, and the only dudes who do fukk with him are his loyal in-reformation lames and lord knows you all aren't admitting he's wrong about some things any time soon by the looks of this thread. So in the end, no one comes out learning anything.

I'm not trying to debate any of you. And that's what you all miss. Y'all are the ones who want to turn it into a debate because I'm not riding the movie as 100% factual or even nearly so. Anytime someone says "Well the movie has some problems, the Tariq crew comes in on some "WELL, list all the inaccuracies, pros, and cons, in alphabetical order by time". Encouraging you all to do your own research because, while a good starting point, the movie's a lil inaccurate = Hating, debating, etc. to y'all. Sensitive as shyt. :pachaha:

I've seen Dr. Phil Valentine have a little debate with a lesser known herbalist about herbs and I didn't think any less of him for that because of a few "inaccuracies".
Great. You want a cookie?

Meaningless retort I may say. On the contrary, that logic is increasingly ostensible right about now..

You're only feeling this way because you're a fan. If you get a score of 75% on a math assignment, is the teacher just hating and mad because she didn't get to do that homework assignment like you? No nikka, you just was wrong on 25% of the shyt. Wtf. LOL.

Edit: No one ever tried to make things a big deal, except the followers of Tariq. I've given the movie it's props and what not, just mentioned that some stuff wasn't true and now all y'all feathers are ruffled. Like I said in my first post, If you don't agree with everything this man does 100% to the point of obsession, his fans have a problem.

I'm disinterested in who's right or wrong here breh. I'm curious for the SOURCES because that's where WE ALL get the info from. I want the pragmatic stuff you know the books, lectures, scripts etc. Not the "NAH HE SAID IT HE WRONG BREH!!" shyt.

Nobody said all of that . You said it's inaccurate so the burden of proof is on you. That's like being in court arguing against something that you call a lie and then not having the proof to show. I'm not interested in hearsay I just want to know what did you think is wrong so I can like I said before... jot it down and research it later down the line?? What's so hard to understand? :mindblown:
Great. You want a cookie?
Vegan Coconut Macaroon cookie with a warm cup of Almond milk please.

Lol what? Who graded Hidden Colors 2 then breh? You? You the teacher?? If you take that role then please correct us and show us the right answers then. I mean that's how school in America works, you get taught the lesson after you failed it. Show us what's wrong. I mean it's plenty of motherfukka's in that documentary so I'm all ears to hearing what's false from Tariq, Umar, Frances etc.

Our feathers was ruffled? That's funny coming from you because I remember you coming off as a hater when nikkas in some of the threads about Tariq's dating advice spoke about it. To paraphrase, you was on some "y'all some losers cuz you let this nikka put you on game" I mean that right there raised a red flag. It's your prerogative to not like dude or whatever but you seemed mad because other people liked what he was saying.

I just came in the last page and seen your name and knew you was saying something I heard already. I just asked you to list what's the errors in the movie and you haven't done so talking about "GO RESEARCH THEN". Lol I could give a fukk who doesn't agree with what Tariq say. I don't agree with everything he says and I don't really find the things that significant that I can' t appreciate what he says that I do agree with.

Briefly skimmed over your post breh.

If I were to find all that shyt, dudes would still try to argue it down, you included, so it's pretty pointless to me. So I could be like a teacher, find all the inaccuracies, and "teach" you again, but you'd better be prepared to shut up and not say anything back like a student. Is that what you'd want?

Or you could look at the 75% you got, be a man/adult about it, and research for yourself instead of waiting for the teacher. Like I said, if you're really into the history, you'll research it yourself, and the more you research, the more you'll find wrong yourself and the more right you will become. You claim to have all these books and done this research, but you seriously didn't watch the movie and find some things off? That's questionable.

Unless you are posting from an alias, originally you didn't ask me to list anything, btw. Also, if I found anything significantly wrong, I wouldn't be recommending the movie to people who may not be that familiar with black history. Do you read or are you just blindly caping?

This thread is proof positive why we probably will never aggregate as a community and develop one agenda to get out of this mess. We too busy arguing over the small shyt....when you discovered the knowledge, inaccuracies in a film, who's behind the film, what Africa was originally titled, if sistas need to wear their hair natural, he's too light, she's too dark, he's not from the hood so he's not black enough, Oprah needs to do this with her billions, Obama needs to do that for us, what are white people going to think about this, Tavis & Cornell need to shut their mouth or Tyler Perry needs to stop c00nin. We fight over the trival shyt. The trivial shyt didnt get us into this and it aint gonna get us out. The small shyt should come after (if at all) we've got the show on the road.

Our history is very important because it reveals to us who we are, what was done to us and where we should be headed. History is nothing but the roadway. But we're too busy arguing over what type of fuel to put in the car to get where we're going.

:mindblown:

Who is telling anyone not to watch the film?

No, the thing that's wrong with the black community is that fukkers don't like to be corrected on shyt, even if it's just the small shyt, black people can't get over it because we perpetuate a mindset of settling and not being the best we can be, not pushing others, "I've never had anything so I'm grateful for this little bit" mentality. Most of us aren't used to having much about us, so many will take anything. If there's a better quality fuel out there that's more proven, why the hell should anyone choose to settle for the first fuel they come across just so they can get on the road faster?

Pride in false/wrong things is just as bad and detrimental for black people as it is white people.

There were in fact Black Moors.

But a majority of them were North African Berbers and Arabs.

"Black" Moors were minorities within the Moorish ranks

Posting selective pictures does not prove anything at all.

nah black moors were/and still are the standard of moors...there is a reason they african conquerers of europe were called moors(latin for black in the 1st place=they were and still are a black people.

ancient north africans during the apex of the moorish civilization were black so saying they were north african berbers doesn't negate their black orign..today are mutt european/arab mixed berbers of today are a far cry from the ancient berbers of yesteryear.....it's not a coincidence the country with the highest concentration of modern moorish decendendents(mauritania) is a predomitely black country or that in north africa in general moor still refers to black north african ethnic groups and north africans as a whole
you just regurgiating the revionsist misinformation eurocentrics wrote and have no idea what you are talking about....

Meh....I personally prefer Henry Lewis Gate's "Wonders of the African World" Documentary where he travels all around Africa specfically detailing and researching black civilizations. It's much more believable, rational and isn't full of conjectures. I'd advise anyone to check it out.

Back in 99' when I was a younging out of high school but before I started college, and all I knew about was sports and music--I caught this series on PBS by chance and it really opened my eyes. That and Malcolm's book just totally transformed my thinking about what it meant to be "black."

As for tariq...I respect the dude to the fullest extent. He can drop that science on relationships, and he's one of the few dudes out there who I can actually stand listening to talk about it. I also respect his entertainment hustle, and I believe that his heart is in the right place when it comes to this Hidden Colors Series...but I have to admit...when I saw the trailer for the first one, I was completely thrown off by the gross inaccuracies and conspirital myths tethered all throughout it.. Plus the lack of academic integrity of the "scholars" involved with the project completely through me off.

I'm curious about his two movies though...has anyone seen them before?

reading/watching docs are great but travelling and seeing the shyt for yourself provides a much greater understanding of research and discovery.

How does looking at shyt in person help u understand sh1t better?

what if ur blind or have poor eyesight

:comeon:

reading books and research >>>> that meaningless sight seeing bullsh1t ur talking about
