Its very sad in this day and age, that a creator cannot just create and there has to be criticism on delivery of black/moor/African history. Such history is not even properly discussed in exclusive segments on bet, tv1, centric or history channel, etc

Some blacks dont even know their own history, besides slavery. Slavery is not real history, its sad moment. Really, what was black history before slavery.

yall wanna argue over content over format, why? because yall have devalued yallself?

I understand some criticism, but what tariq has done is very unique, rare and uncommon. The truths he has researched pointed out is so controversial. The guys is self made and has a lot to offer from relationships, women, business, history, etc - while he is not perfect, he is on par with the great content he delivers/put together, be PPV specials, DVD, chatting, etc

Save yall criticism for other media, and step your collective history value game up.

fukk is you talking bout?? arguing over content over format? :mindblown:

I dont give a fukk bout what he has researched,as a matter of fact only a idiot like u would believe this nikka researched anything.
He is not a Historian,he is not a researcher. He just compiled shyt he lifted from other works and presented them as his own work.
Funny how u morons keep ducking the Mansa Musa/Montezuma slip up.Yall didnt hear that shyt??:usure:
What serious 'researcher' gonna make a mistake like that?

If dude's work boosts u nikkas' confidence as men and black people, thats fine..some of u fatherless, uneducated nikkas need that.
But stop with all this dikkriding you're doing.

And if it took Tariq for your black ass to be interested in Black history..u need to be ashamed of yourself

"Hidden Colors: The Untold History Of People Of Aboriginal,Moor, and African Descent" is a groundbreaking documentary on world history.
Launched: Nov 19, 2010
Funding ended: Dec 19, 2010
Remind Me
"Hidden Colors: The Untold History Of People Of Aboriginal,Moor, and African Descent" is a groundbreaking documentary that challenges conventional knowledge about the role of people of color in world history. We are generally taught that historically, most people of color around the world were primitive and uncivilized, and they only became modernized after they were saved and colonized by European explorers. The information in the film will uncover the real truth and and contributions of these people. .

For this film,we are going around the country interviewing leading scholars and historians discussing topics that have been omitted from modern history books such as:
*The race of the first Native Americans
*The African men who ruled European countries
*The aboriginal origins of many modern religions
*Secret wars the U.S has had with Blacks (domestic and international)
*The secret Moorish background of many prominent Europeans
*The wealthy ancient African empires
*The African origin and influence of modern secret societies
*The real reason slavery was ended
And much more.

This documentary will also touch on many of the reasons why much of this information has been hidden from the public for so long. This film will be of interest to everyone, regardless of race or ethnic background, because the rich history of the people discussed is world history. And world history is all of our history.

The money raised through Kickstarter will be used for travel expenses for the film crew to film interviews in multiple cities. The money will also be used to create special effects & titles, as well as for the process of combining all of these elements: rendering, compositing, sound design and editing. There are also hardware and software that we need in order to create everything at high resolution so that the finished film will be able to screen theatrically.

Don't forget to help spread the word and share this project on facebook with all your friends.

Hidden Colors 2 is a follow up of the groundbreaking documentary that talks about the untold history of people of color.

Remind Me
"Hidden Colors 2" is the follow up film to the critically acclaimed Hidden Colors: The Untold History Of People Of Aboriginal,Moor, and African Descent.

For this installment of the Hidden Colors series,we are going around the country interviewing leading scholars and historians discussing topics that have been omitted from modern history books. We also touch on many issues that face people of color that are rarely discussed openly. Hidden Colors 2 will talk about things such as:

*The origins of the Olmec and Mayans
*The truth about the prison industrial complex
*The economic warfare against aboriginal people
*Untold American history
*Secret medical practices against people of color

And much more.

This documentary will also touch on many of the reasons why much of this information has been hidden from the public for so long. This film will be of interest to everyone, regardless of race or ethnic background, because the rich history of the people discussed is world history. And world history is all of our history.

There are also hardware and software that we need in order to create everything at high resolution so that the finished film will be able to screen theatrically.

Also,a lot of the money will be used for media promotions for the theatrical release of the film.

Our minimum funding goal is $30,000,but our ideal goal is between $100,000-$500,000,because the Hidden Colors series has proved to be an influential brand critically, and academically.

Don't forget to help spread the word and share this project on facebook with all your friends. And go to Hidden Colors 2 - Now Available On DVD for updates.

mistakes are human. no one is perfect. thats why news media have errata

hinging errata, on a career of consistency...ok tariq slipped. but the cheesy tv show has a budget of hundreds of thousands/millions to create a tv show and it still makes mistakes

but you tv it, put on dvr, then decide to watch it later, then make excuses for it

That wasnt a mistake..that was ignorance

If i was to tell people Shaka Zulu and Ibn Batuta were the same person..record it,edit it and publish the shyt for all masses to hear..

It wouldnt be just a mistake..it would mean i didnt have a clue bout what i was talking bout

Tariq made an errata and goes beyond books

Errata, lists of errors and their corrections, may take the form of loose, inserted sheets or bound-in pages. An errata sheet is definitely not a usual part of a book. It should never be supplied to correct simple typographical errors (which may be rectified in a later printing) or to insert additions to, or revisions of, the printed text (which should wait for the next edition of the book) It is a device to be used only in extreme cases where errors severe enough to cause misunderstanding are detected too late to correct in the normal way but before the finished book is distributed. Then the errors may be listed with their locations and their corrections on a sheet that is tipped in, either before or after the book is bound, or laid in loose, usually inside the front cover of the book

yeah, you know something. it's nice to talk about the past, history and etc BUT you know something. folks seem to not give a fukk about the present and the future though. don't get me wrong, it's always good to know about history because it's knowledge BUT i think the theme as shown in this thread is folks aren't using the past to make themselves smarter in relation towards helping themselves out and the generation coming after them in the future.

folks are busy arguing over what happened back then and facts. okay BUT after all the arguing is done, your ass still needs to worry about what's going on now. what happened already happened. nowadays, folks are basically not realizing that the system that was set up then is STILL in existence now and instead of folks learning or trying to infiltrate the system so they can fix it since there's a little more freedom to go about, folks are STILL making the same mistakes and then wondering why things are the way they are. you get what i'm saying? you have black folks in this present day and time talking about "remember when we were slaves" and "400 years ago, my people were slaves". :smh: you weren't a slave and 400 years ago is way back when. let's worry about today's world and learn to make things better instead of moving around with this whole sorry ass slave mentality because that's what it sounds like. folks are waiting for a miracle or don't want to attempt to take action or whatever.

so all this talk about hidden colors this or whatever is really nothing because folks aren't getting the point to begin with. it's always good to know history BUT if you're not learning from it where it's making you question your ways and your actions such as using the n-word and the c-word and etc, then you might as well just stop. that's the point in the first place. you have folks in here thinking that they're smart because they know about the moors BUT yet they turn around making threads basically about self hatred and basically not looking at their actions and thoughts.

In the Silver Lining
:usure:? Even if you ignore all the historical evidence of who the moors were, the etymology of the word moor tells you something differently.

Mora - spanish for blackberry
Morena - spanish for dark hair
Moricaud - french for dark skinned
Morillon - black grape
Mora - itallian for black grape

Not only that there's tons of pictures of old pictures painted during the times the moors were ruling Europe that shows them darker than crunchy black. Here's one found in the Cantigas of Santa Maria

haven't even seen the first Hidden Colors......but I"m going to have to just to chime in on this......

This thread just shows that most black people are a bunch of fantasia's = THEY DON'T READ ANYTHING except it's some gossip like superhead's book or relationship nonsense like steve harvey's how to keep a man crap.

:usure:

It's sad!

Tariq a hustler is passing on knowledge in his own way and people here are over analyzing it.

Who cares if it's not 100% accurate, most docs aren't. Nobody says it's the holy grail or something.

Take whatever info that is useful from the docs and move on, we are still stuck with in fighting.

You already have the ingredients, it's time to cook people. :cook:
