I like this game but also kind of hate it lol
The cartoon vibe, characters, soundtrack and visual style are actually the highlights to me. It has a lot of heart to it. It may seem immature but I liked the characters and overall vibe
I find the combat to be annoying and not fun. Nothing feels right and I didn't enjoy trying to learn the combo system. Gameplay is basic as hell

The combat gets repetitive by the mid point, and the platforming and walking movement is really slow and awkward.
You’re right, the presentation, graphics, music, characters kind of carry the game.
