i would honestly say streets disciple is his most slept on album

the consensus is that SD is his weakest album, but like all of nas so called wack albums there are a handful of gems that you cant deny are dope songs.

hhid def aint a wack album. musically things are changing and personally you just have to be a nas fan to like most of his work. when someone says something is boring i already know whats up and what type of music moves these dudes.

i agree, SD was better than HHID and Untitled IMO. to me that's his most grown up album topic wise. a lot of filler due to it being 2 discs, but it is severely underrated.

I mean...

Money Over Bullshyt
Black Republican
Let There Be Light
Hold Down The Block
Still Dreamin
Blunt Ashes
Hip Hop Is Dead

To me all of those songs are all really good. The rest of the songs Nas is doing his thing on for the most part but the beats make em get tired fast. Nas wasn't killing it enough to make up for the weaker beats but he still was goin on on tracks like You Cant Kill Me and shyt.

Frankincense and Myrrh
I loved this album. Only consistently skipped Who Killed it? :scusthov:

I haven't seen Play on Playa mentioned too often. I loved the Nas/Snoop combo. That beat was piff too.

Ruby red grapefruit juice with Grey Goose
Rubies in Hey-Zeus piece
Pimped out like Snoop be, but an East Coast thing
My girl stock-ing tied up in a knot, top of my bean head
Billion dollar dream head
Went from triple beams to digital
Serving fiends, the minimal
60 G's, no criminal
No mo', Just mo' doe
Mimosas pouring, Oprah's earrings on fingers
While your girl performs cunnilingus
'Cause this big money aroma lingers
Barber cleans his blade, then he give me a fade
Hot towel on the face
Hot models who vomit after they eat so they can stay lightweight
Swallowing my protein like an Ovaltine shake
Come through like Moe Green from Godfather, so clean
Where I step, I Clorox it

That whole song has a pimp vibe to it. Nas' flow on there >>>

I remember on SOHH when that album first came out people were going nuts calling it a classic, best double lp etc...then months later when the sales figures were checked and it showed that it was Nas' first album that didn't go plat immediately...they flip flopped and started calling it a bad album.

I really like HHID. Albeit there are some boring parts, but the good songs are GREAT. He was spitting on the whole album.

Let's be real though, Nas has no bad albums.
