How does Christopher Walken’s character last so long playing Russian Roulette in The Deer Hunter? You have about a 50% chance of surviving a game of Russian Roulette. Below 50% if you go first.

He was able to last long enough to make large amounts of money playing Russian Roulette. Despite being so strung out on H that he could barely remember Robert De Niro, he had the presence of mind to know where his other friend at the veterans hospital was to send him lots of money?

Why didn’t Ivan Drago face criminal charges for the Apollo Creed fight? The ref tries to stop it, Drago pushes the ref several feet back, then proceeds to punch Apollo several more times, and Creed dies.

There’s been a lot of ring deaths over the years and it’s accepted as a risk. But I don’t know of any that came after one boxer physically assaulted the ref when he was trying to stop the fight, and then beat his opponent some more. It would also be a high profile case since it was a famous former champion who died.

Fights are also not stopped by simply throwing the towel in the ring. Refs are supposed to ignore that, because it can some idiot fan throwing stuff in the ring. You can climb up the ring steps & let the ref or an official you want to stop it (Mayweather-Corrales). You can simply enter the ring to stop it (Jones-Barrera 1, Tyson-McNeeley), which is what Duke should have done.

If Rocky had thrown the towel in, would Drago have even cared?

Clubber Lang also shoves Mickey to the floor before he suffers a heart attack and dies.

Rocky Balboa also forgot about the whole “irreversible brain damage” they talked about in 5. Antonio Tarver would have been ridiculed for the rest of his career for having a life and death struggle with a senior citizen.
Clubber is absolutely not at fault for that. Rewatch the scene

Set It Off

Exactly how did Luther discover the money from the bank robberies the girls had stashed in the building vents? :patrice:

Did he stumble onto it by accident, or was he earhustling and overheard where they placed it? :patrice:
Why didn't those dumb broads his car for the money after they killed him?

There's a good chance that he had the loot stashed in his trunk. This is beyond common sense.

If that dusty hooker had a bit of sense she would have done so......after the girls left

😂😂😂 I'm crying. Dude was the Tom Brady of Russian Roulette. Reached grand champion levels. :dead:

The Deer Hunter is the most overrated movie of the 70s. There's one classic scene and thats it.

I can't wait for this thread to do another spin off for video games. Because I got a couple of video games I like to ruin with logic and common sense.

shyt way too easy to do with video games. You mean to tell me the final boss in Streets of Rage just waits in his big chair until Axel and crew get there? :stopitslime: You mean to tell me eating cooked turkeys on the ground restores health instead of giving you food poisoning? :stopitslime:

Those "tail the mark" missions in the GTA games and their knockoffs..even the slightest bump into another car then the person you're following speeds off and you have no way of catching up :russ:
