Was watching Poltergeist and these scumbag parents send their 8yr old kid away in cab by himself. They don't even walk the little b*stard to the cab, they just say bye from the porch and have the nerve to tell the kid to call them.

I know it was the early 80s but I couldn't imagine just putting my kid in a cab with a stranger and waving bye like its no big deal

I think about it all the time. Parents, pre 2010, didn't give one fukk about kids. Kids go to school around 7am, come home before the parents, go out with friends, with no communication devices possible, and the parents don't see them till 8pm at night.. Parents really went 12-14 hours a day, having no fukking clue where their kids were or what they was doing. Sending them out to the store and shyt with money on them. Leaving them home alone talking bout "lock the door and don't open it." All summer vacation was a practice in being a full grown adult. You think some parent in the 80s was staying the fukk home all summer to watch kids? Or put those old ass kids in expensive ass daycare? Hell fukking no. You lucky if the lady up the street would check you for vitals for $30 a week.

They won't regenerate minor injuries so that will add up. They have no environmental awareness which means terrain would be racking up broken bodies like crazy in the wilderness
They'll be walking piles of maggots which will break their bodies down even more.

They'll be weaker and more shambolic than Mr Burns. For runners it will be even quicker even if they catch more bodies.
