In a lot of romantic comedies and sitcoms, guys would be considered stalkers and probably have restraining orders on them. Especially Urkel.

What really changes for the better for Jody and everyone at the end of Baby Boy? He took part in a murder, and bonded with Melvin. He’s about to have his 3rd child, does he have a job? Is he still worried that his mom’s new BF has a history of domestic violence (and possible prison rape)?

How come in horror films, the writers always make characters preface that "I have a kid" or "I have a family" whenever some group of teens or strangers who have run afoul of some supernatural entity hell-bent on killing them. I'm watching Pumpkin Head and we are suppose to feel like the man who doesn't open the door to do dude who is about to get slaughtered is A bad person. BUT since he's concerned about his family, he's doing the ethical thing. BUT fukk that If you knew Jason was chasing and killing these teens who happened to be hanging in your door and who would get you killed by intervening in their bullshyt, what would the average person do? He'll what would you do? I'm not letting nikkas in.
