My younger brother just got an email that Google is abruptly ending their partnership with Ron Brown Scholars. @Walt helped me with this application process a few years ago. My brother was able to get a full ride and his foot in the door at Google through this initiative.

We already know what they did the last vote on this. 52 Democrats voted for it. We will see what happens this time, and there is a good chance it will be sent up again when Trump is in office. We will see what the Senate Democrats do that time too.

Also, I am talking about everyone who is so intent making sure no one Blames the Democrats for the part they play in this. I am talking about everyone who rushes in to insult Black people over politics, when Black people overall have no power over what direction this country goes, showing that really they just like to insult our own. I am talking about those who like to foment fear over issues that are not real, because for some reason they like to make our people scared every chance they get. Even when you point out how unlikely the issue will come to pass, they still continue to push the fearmongering narrative.
