Hey “both siders?” House Republicans just revived HR 9495. If it passes, expect all Black focused initiatives to be killed

Not as culpable but

I stopped reading after this.

Its not, period.

Dead the rest of that bullshyt.

You know what’s wrong with your modern day Negroes? Do you think anything else less than perfection is failure. MLK knew Lyndon Johnson saw him as a ****** but got what he needed out of him. Folks today look for absolute, unilateral perfection. We live in an imperfect world, but when the consensus is on your side, or against you, you called the consensus for what it is. I just don’t get this new age buffoonery.

I was here when your post said "Did you see the vote today?"

Either way, yes, I saw 52 vote yay while 144 voted Nay.

Roll Call 458 Roll Call 458, Bill Number: H. R. 9495, 118th Congress, 2nd Session

So if we are being reasonable, the people who voted yay, almost 27% of Dems, should have their phones blowing up by constituents. 73% said no.

This is on the head of those 27%. "The Dems" didn't do it, that 27% voted for that failed bill did. It did fail, btw, on the 12th.
Why don't you acknowledge the 27% betrayers right now? Will the 27% be called out by the 73% or will they not criticize their colleagues?

What are these threads supposed to accomplish?:mjlol:

I'm supposed to feel bad that cacs voted for Trump:dead:

No. Its meant for people who need to be ready to get ready and for both siders to see just how dumb they are and display in this thread just how stubbornly stupid they are in refusing to admit it.

Go to your corner along with @Pazzy

We are asking for a platform the majority of their constituents actually want not perfection. Dems do wildly unpopular things and then act surprised when they lose support.

Yet, you still have not faced the fact the Democrats must continuously fail in order for the Republicans to get what they want. So they have to be negligent in their duties to protect the rights of their constituents in order for the Republicans to be able to strip our rights. Yet, you want us to not look at that, and point out what is actually happening. We are suppose to act like the Democrats are doing all they can to stop it, when in fact they had the power to stop it all along.

If you hide from the Truth that is in front of you, how can you expect anyone to take your positions seriously? If you always want to rile of the people in fear of something, when by all rights it is something that should have no chance of happening, what does that really say about your intentions? If you are so ready to insult other Black people over something we as a collective have no power to control, then why should we think you are really Pro-Black?
First, im gonna address the bolded. This is the coli. Stop taking things so seriously. We are all here for discourse and much of it turns straight into nonsense. I constantly ask the same of folks pro-blackness when they seem elated at random things Republicans do as if its gonna make us better (I recall some praising Roe repeal like it was some positive thing).

Now, I see what you mean by "Dems must fail". Ok, fine, but when we have those conversations, WHO failed and why?

"The Democrats." Nah, John D from Michigan and Rhonda R. from Rhode Island are paid by the same people the Republicans are. (made up people, btw).

The action should then be to find ways to punish the bad actors directly, assuming someone is Democrat themselves, rather than joining into a circle-jerk of "The Democrats". Knowing the why and how of the failings are as important as knowing the failing. Reward those doing right and punishing those doing wrong. We have plenty of examples of some good legislation coming where ALL Republicans are against it and they should see smoke. We see something Republicans unanimously support and maybe 20% of Dems break away to support it but the expectation is to hang it on the head of all Democrats. THAT is the problem, as it merely breeds apathy and cynicism for people who weren't even the problem. There needs to be discernment in order to focus efforts. If a small portion breaking away is enough to bush a whole chamber, we will constantly see-saw between representatives.

I am just pointing out that my originally post was to something different than what you finally had posted, showing my post was not a point that was made in the ether.

You react too much like you are being attacked. You need help with that.

Yeah don’t ever tell me what to do.

No. You are busy looking for 100% alignment and things short of that is your focus.
You new age folks are awful in this.

:mjtf:Are you asking me specifically? To acknowledge them??? Or do you mean their colleagues? If you mean the latter, they should, and maybe they are, but now that means a bit more homework for us to see if they did.

Yeah don’t ever tell me what to do.
What are you going to do to stop me? Seriously, you sound like a child now talking back to an adult. Act your age man, and stop acting like you are some White boy Edgelord.

If you are so pressed about me pointing out your BS, you can always put me on ignore. I will still point it out, but you will have the illusion that it is not happening.
