Yet, you still have not faced the fact the Democrats must continuously fail in order for the Republicans to get what they want. So they have to be negligent in their duties to protect the rights of their constituents in order for the Republicans to be able to strip our rights. Yet, you want us to not look at that, and point out what is actually happening. We are suppose to act like the Democrats are doing all they can to stop it, when in fact they had the power to stop it all along.
If you hide from the Truth that is in front of you, how can you expect anyone to take your positions seriously? If you always want to rile of the people in fear of something, when by all rights it is something that should have no chance of happening, what does that really say about your intentions? If you are so ready to insult other Black people over something we as a collective have no power to control, then why should we think you are really Pro-Black?
First, im gonna address the bolded. This is the coli. Stop taking things so seriously. We are all here for discourse and much of it turns straight into nonsense. I constantly ask the same of folks pro-blackness when they seem elated at random things Republicans do as if its gonna make us better (I recall some praising Roe repeal like it was some positive thing).
Now, I see what you mean by "Dems must fail". Ok, fine, but when we have those conversations, WHO failed and why?
"The Democrats." Nah, John D from Michigan and Rhonda R. from Rhode Island are paid by the same people the Republicans are. (made up people, btw).
The action should then be to find ways to punish the bad actors directly, assuming someone is Democrat themselves, rather than joining into a circle-jerk of "The Democrats". Knowing the why and how of the failings are as important as knowing the failing. Reward those doing right and punishing those doing wrong. We have plenty of examples of some good legislation coming where ALL Republicans are against it and they should see smoke. We see something Republicans unanimously support and maybe 20% of Dems break away to support it but the expectation is to hang it on the head of all Democrats. THAT is the problem, as it merely breeds apathy and cynicism for people who weren't even the problem. There needs to be discernment in order to focus efforts. If a small portion breaking away is enough to bush a whole chamber, we will constantly see-saw between representatives.
