Hey “both siders?” House Republicans just revived HR 9495. If it passes, expect all Black focused initiatives to be killed

How would I know about something when it occurred after the fact
what occurred after the fact? columbus ain't that big to where you didn't hear nazis were openly marching through your city on the day it happened.

but you'll sit your fat ass on here all day everyday and call yourself talking down to people. nikka you were too scared to even go look at those people in person, much less say anything to em. so don't address me nikka, cause we ain't the same type of people.

We already know what they did the last vote on this. 52 Democrats voted for it. We will see what happens this time, and there is a good chance it will be sent up again when Trump is in office. We will see what the Senate Democrats do that time too.

Also, I am talking about everyone who is so intent making sure no one Blames the Democrats for the part they play in this. I am talking about everyone who rushes in to insult Black people over politics, when Black people overall have no power over what direction this country goes, showing that really they just like to insult our own. I am talking about those who like to foment fear over issues that are not real, because for some reason they like to make our people scared every chance they get. Even when you point out how unlikely the issue will come to pass, they still continue to push the fearmongering narrative.

So I am questioning what is the real intent of people who do the above over and over again and asking the question: why should we even take you seriously on the issues? If you fit the bill, then yes I am talking about you too. So, where do you stand?
Indeed we will see what happens. It failed last time so lets hope history repeats.

Who is saying Dems should take no blame? Thats not an issue. Its treating this as if its a story where the Democrats are the main character and things pass or fail based mostly on them. We can absolutely nail them on issues where they fumble a ball they have already caught, but if there are layers to why something did not work, detailing those reasons as well as the who and why *specifically* is helpful. It is harder to get in line to take people to task if say you assume 192 House Dems all worked in concert to get something like 9495 passed. Knowing it was just those 52, they should absolutely get rained on. If we just assume since any Dem broke for this bill then they all are compromised, we pretty much walk ourselves into apathy which is the #1 reason I fight back on #bothsides narratives. It removes the legwork of knowing names and says "They all do it" flippantly. Also, fearmongering is the wrong word, as too much "This isn't likely to happen" ends up with Roe and Affirmative Action being rolled back. Being firm on something to prevent end slight chances is better than assuming it won't happen.

As for whether or not to take folks seriously, again, this is the coli. In TLR, very little is to be taken seriously, because depending on who you ask, nobody wants to really go deep into anything, we just argue and try to do it with the least sources and keystrokes possible. I don't have smoke for "black people" as a voting bloc, but I do have oodles of issue with folks *on here* narrowing down conversations with reductive takes. I might not have answered your final question, but it was loaded like a 30-round mag.

This was already presented in a recent house session. It failed because it needed 270 votes (2/3rd's majority). However, 52 APIAC funded Democrats joined the effort in trying to get this pushed through.

I give credit to @Uachet and others trying to set the record straight on these clickbait topics, but I'm keeping my activity in these to a minimum the same way I did during election season. These topics ALWAYS turn into Tariq Nasheed/Reparations jump-the-shark jackoff sessions, almost as a way of laughing to keep yourselves from crying. The false equivalencies because people dared to criticize the decay of Joe Biden over the past 2+ years or any wrongdoing/mediocrity of democrats like Kamala Harris which everyone else saw is shameful. Then acting as if it was black peoples fault Kamala/Democrats lost when ADOS is one of the most stagnant races population-wise in part abortion as healthcare and individualism is pushed on us by Blue Dogs harder than any group.

Y'all enjoy raising your cortisol levels in these scapegoat arguments and wishing harm on other black people (just like these racists want) when you wouldn't dare to do it to a GOP representative or voter who is actually helping to put these laws in place.

I'm saying that I don't trust corporate democrats to act. Democrats who've actually worked a real job in the last 20 years or who have no history of taking aipac or wall st money like Bernie sanders? Yeah I expect those kinds to put up a fight.

But clowns like John Fetterman are still under the delusion that they can shame or negotiate with the fascists that have taken over the republican party. They live in another reality where politics is like a fukking Aaron Sorkin movie and they can give a big speech and Republicans will renounce their evil and agree to work with them.

The days of fair fighting, compromise, and bipartisanship are over. Whomever can tap into the rage of the American people will win. I don't trust corporate democrats who are out of touch with reality.
The college educated democrats view lower class people as charity cases so they'll struggle bridging gaps to feel relatable.

I fault Black folks who fall onto the side both sides when we lack the capital to be that stupid.

Not a Democrat? What are you a #BothSides loser?!

Party Affiliation: Illinois does not require that voters register under a political party. A voter will simply state the which party’s ballot they would like when they vote in primary elections.
Don't have to join a party to vote. I can just vote based on issues.

Are you going to do something as simple as send your local Democratic or even Republican congressman an email to tell them not to vote for 9495 or any similar bills?
