My younger brother just got an email that Google is abruptly ending their partnership with Ron Brown Scholars. @Walt helped me with this application process a few years ago. My brother was able to get a full ride and his foot in the door at Google through this initiative.

Ron Brown is a great program. I wasn't in it but know some who were. Sad. We gonna have to fill in the gap somehow.

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt he knows the groups and those who support these things. His state has the most well-known proponents of some of these stances and a lot of lesser known names.

The point isn't to dunk on him, its to illustrate that if we don't know if someone supports something, it doesn't mean that there isn't. We just don't know them by name. When we do, we should either support them or step off.
