I said you did not know them. This is a fact. I don't know every little initiative in my city or state but if I want something specific, there is a group somewhere representing it. Often times, those groups may have a voice in government but they need support. That is the main takeaway, not the other stuff.
This is niche but talking to a random cat at a basketball court a few months back, I saw he had a nice ass E-Bike. We start shooting and I ask him about it. Turns out he is on a lobby to keep Chicago from trying to add licensing requirements to Ebikes which is something I never knew about but also would support. It's a small thing, but if you have something you care about, there is someone else who cares about it too. Someone is organizing something but we just gotta find it and support it, especially on the local level where your voice gets proportionally more attention.
