If the extent of political action is saying "Such and such did nothing" and then doing nothing in turn, then there is zero reason to be part of political conversations. See, your whole post is fugazi.Even if I am just "Reparations or bust", Evanston Illinois the literal first North Suburb of the city has had a small reparations program that has given $5 million to families. Chicago has a Reparations task force and has a meeting tomorrow that I will virtually attend while at work (2nd link).
There are popular policies that people DO champion but YOU DON'T KNOW THEM. I happen to know this is a thing locally and keep my ears to it so I can support those who support it. I don't constantly need a major well-known Democrat to talk about it to know its happening, I just literally read what's going on in my city. If you do the same, I guarantee you someone is working on something you want but they need support. They might not have the funds to be a big name, but this is where we use our research skills and find them.
