Here's why the idea of "Alien Contact" is stupid.

If another planets inhabitants wanted to come here and had the capabilities to do so; I'm sure they would be able to detect us through means besides us 'lighting up our sky' for them to see.
Breh, seeing as electromagnetic radiation... aka light, is the known fastest thing in the universe, it really is that simple.

regardless, I was saying that they possibly wouldn't need our actions or projections to cause them to detect and discover us. Call me crazy, but if someone stated that "Unless they flying around aimlessly, nothings even going to see us for a long long time"... I would call that a extensive assumption.

It's not my place to doubt new shyt that we haven't discovered, we're only within the first century of trully being able to measure shyt like the speed of light... but you might as well through worm holes, time travel, and all other types of sci fi babble in with your nonsense :aicmon:

And what you're saying doesnt negate my point. If anything has the ability to know we're 'out there' and reach us, either it has already taken control unbeknownst or doesnt care about us at all. They arent gonna come here offer peace or war or probe our cows or take over our white house cause we wouldnt be new to them or have anything new to offer, breh

:usure: and that's a fact. ok, breh. Have you ever considered that our planet, just might have a resource that they may have an interest in? We can detect, with our technology, natural resources that are miles beneath the surface. Who's to say that, with the technology of beings who had the technology to travel the speed of light (the fastest thing in the universe), they can't detect something of value on our planet.

We discover sh1t everyday. you are assuming they are so advance that they've already determined we have nothing to offer.. They may to so advance that they know what to do with what we have to offer. 60 years ago if someone said that you would be able to speak to a person face to face on your computer screen through skype.. Another person would say "It's not my place to doubt new shyt that we haven't discovered, we're only within the first century of advanced communication being able to make faster direct phone calls n sh1t like that"... but you might as well speak into a banana and reach out to your cousin in France :aicmon:

This would lead one to believe we live on 'rare earth' and that somehow we have a material in abundance that they dont have, even though we're constantly finding planets that have everything we have and more. Makes even less sense to come here and deal with the hassle of snagging it from humans where there's billions of other planets un touched and waiting to be mined.

And there's huge fundamental difference between making a skype call and breaking the speed of light... not as subatomic particles, but as a living being. But you're right, they could see us and be spying on use right now, scooping out theyre next home planet... right... cause they didnt notice us for all the 4.5 billion years the earths been around, we just popped up on their radar..

Unless we're the resource and they've waited for our population to approach 7 billion to put us to work :bryan:

I don't know what they could possibly need us for. I just assume they'd have machines that could do anything a human could do. our 'primitive' society is already almost there

I also think stuff like The Matrix is funny for acting like the human body would be any sort of efficient 'battery'. a gram of plutonium probably produces more energy

so we know that 'they' haven't already visited the other planets similar or ours? And we know for a fact that Earth's position and composition doesn't make us unique in anyway from the next closest Earth-like planet in close proximity to the 'they'.

Also, if they can travel like that... then it's possible for them to have noticed us and visited then simply decided to return later.

ntm, we don't constantly find planets that have everything we have, we find planets that seem similar but we haven't actually visited them. Out of all these planets only two have day night cycles, so how do we constantly find planets that have everything we have? And when have we visited planets that are light years away to determine their life and resources.

point is, it's narrow minded to make absolute statements about the intentions of potential visiting beings to our planet.

Plus, if they are that much more advance than us, I would assume that they know about disrupting natural habitats and societies. If they only decided to observe from afar, then it could be due to not wanting to mess up the natural habitat of primitive beings- might not be due to us not having anything they need.

The possibility of something occurring doesnt make it more likely. Im saying, if all the dominoes fell correctly for 'them' to reach us, its already happened, or they dont care.

On a scale of advancement, humans arent far along and we already about to be cloning shyt.... alchemy through nuclear physics... genetically engineered food...... smart phones... and we growing organs now breh, if thats in 1 century and it takes thousands of light years to see whats alive next to us..... than humans aint that interesting... or 'they' might not exist :merchant:

And we wont be playing playstation 10 with them either, even our future technology is old as fukk... to think of the level of possible advancement in the time to reach us, they could matrix our whole civilization and no one would no... just no reason to sit down and talk

:whew: that 1% dna shyt is deep

*looks for remedial youtube video explaining EMR*

lol, looks for reason that serious follows me around here, but never contributes with an opinion or pov.. just smily faces n sh1t?

You can't really disagree with the fact that we could be discovered without the cause being us "being able to light up our sky", or do you disagree? :childplease:

The possibility of something makes it possible. :hmm: The possibility and the facts that back up the possibility combined with the endless amount of information we are yet to discover makes every post you've made in this thread invalid. I just can't believe you would even attempt to make absolute statements regarding this subject.

:scusthov: Based on what? I don't understand how you all are allowed to make str8 up wrong statements and it's considered scientifically based or OK to say. We get online and say sh1t like "On a scale of advancement, humans arent far along, so we blah blah" and that doesn't even strike one other poster as foolish. smh. Please sir, explain the scale of advancement and explain to what that is compared to? :scusthov:

And we wont be playing playstation 10 with them either, even our future technology is old as fukk... to think of the level of possible advancement in the time to reach us, they could matrix our whole civilization and no one would no... just no reason to sit down and talk

......
basically you just want to say random stuff and aren't going to even try again with the Earth like planets stuff, or how we absolutely know they wouldn't be interested in us as a planet or people. aight breh.

To me its more accurate to say we're not gonna see Aliens walking around in our lifetime cause we're prolly not. The average human lives to 80 if they're lucky and the universe is billions of years old. Who's to say what will happen 500 years from now though? 1000? Its even more ignorant to say that we're alone though. We never even set foot on another planet and the most we've studied are the handful of planets in our solar system. So we basically don't really know shyt about space or whats really out there in other galaxies and systems. So youre basically making an assumption about billions of planets and systems based on the 0.0000001% of area weve actually studied. Doesnt get more ignorant than that
