What y’all eat when y’all go to the movies? Got a date tomorrow...
Depends...popcorn with butter has hella calories. The last time I went I ate dinner before I went to the movies. If you have to eat something there go with a small popcorn without butter with a diet soda. If it's a cheat meal then go all out :manny:

Eating good food is one of the things I enjoy I life and so far I have made it work alongside my gym life. I live in NY so there's so many restaurants I wanna try, but I try to spread it out to 2 new restaurants a month AT MOST. I read some foodie blog where some dude tried a new restaurant every day and he gained a pound every day :mjlol:
I used to work in restaurants.

The amount of butter and oil they use would blow your mind.

Just one cheat meal for me each Sunday. I eat fairly "clean" for breakfast and lunch and then go all out for dinner. Track my macros through it all too with MFP. Have little to no carbs the majority of the day until it's dinner time. If I have a whole cheat weekend, I might never come back from the dark side again :mjlol:

Eat a healthy snack before and then, gasp, refrain from eating for a whole two hours :ohhh:

Bought(snuck) a chipotle bowl in with me and got a Diet Coke. I was good:smugdraper:

Why do you want a cheat meal/day?
Do you have certain cravings you are finding hard to kick?
Because there's likely a healthy alternative to whatever you're craving that would satisfy you.
I don't have any major cravings but on the small occasion where I may want something sweet I'll have a 2 or 3 teaspoons of whipped cream. :yeshrug:

Probably the notion that you have to find an alternative to a food you enjoy as long as you keep it in relative moderation.

The concept of a cheat meal is not about healthy alternatives.

What’s the healthy alternative to Popeyes?
What at Popeyes do you want?
Fried Breaded Chicken?
You could have fried chicken breast at home breaded with Almond or Coconut flour instead.
Biscuits?
You can have a low carb tortilla or make some oopsie bread (cloud bread) out of eggs, some baking soda, zero calorie sweetener, and a bit of vanilla extract.
It all depends your goals, and particular diet.
It may not be a one to one comparison every time but I'm sure there are healthier alternatives to unhealthy cheat meals way more often times than not.
