worth it or not worth it? also i copped a linksys wireless N router, my computer is wired through my router currently and the new one will be too, does this make any kind of difference? ive been playing my PS3 wirelessly with a g router for 4-5 years, will an N router improve on the speed? link to router:

i havent opened anything so i will return if neither are necessary
Most wireless connections can handle the throughput of today's internet still. I'd suggest N just for future preparing purposes.
Also Tomato (one of the variants) does support some N routers. It's a really slick firmware. If your current one supports it I'd recommend it.
Why battery back-up? You lose power a lot? Thats good if you do important stuff so you can save if you lose power but its going to do much for gaming
The N router will make a difference with wireless N stuff. But PS3 is not N, and it won't change any wired connections.
what about the battery backup/surge protector?

only reason i ended up getting it is fear that the c00nix 700W PSU(standard entry level)wont hold up over time
my friend told me i was a dumbass and to return it, but my logic is that this thing should lessen the stress on it. I have storms regularly in my area and my AC does turn on and off frequently
the c00nix 700W PSU
see this the kind of feed back i needed, i feel good. I think im just gonna keep the N router just for the sake of being ready in the future + i can use it for my laptop
will return the battery backup and just get a surgeprotector, any recommendations? benchmarks?
this my first time spending guap on a major computer so im doing windsprints

the only thing different is the power supply, so theoretically i would have saved a ~$100-$150 at best
