Ive been riding with it for the last week and I wasnt the biggest fan initially but I like it. I bunch of incredible emcees got together and got better production. Soooo... I dont understand the hate. Joe Budden and Royce got outshined by Crooked I and Joell repeatedly but I think the album is dope

What exactly was wrong with them trying to gain new fans with better production and more overall appealing music? Help me understand the criticism....
if that's your idea of "better" production then i pity your ears

I'm the last person to complain about production, so when I say that the beats on this were trash and don't match SH at all I think that says alot. Simply put the whole vibe of the album sounded forced, people need to go back and bump the first SH album and see there is a huge difference in tone and quality all around.

this... i was listening to the first album the other day and was really realizing how much the production just didn't fit them on this new one, the lyrics are there and i'm not against the concepts, but the beats are just not right, my opinion tho... :manny:

The Album was :trash: , stop it slime. They sold out in the worst way possible, they made a pop (current) eminem influenced album to which the fans gave the :childplease: but these clowns failed even at selling out. No Top 40 bish is gonna bang Throw that or Throw it away garbage.

The album served no purpose, they alienated the original fanbase while failing to get the attention of the radio.

The sound of the album was off. I don't really care about production too much, but it clearly clashed with their established sound. They did not sound right on any of them, they were competing with the production. It sounds like they tried to do an Eminem album. They also watered down the lyrics a bit which made their whole appeal off. They tried to gain new fans, but this is the perfect example of try to please all and you please none. They were never going to gain new fans that way, and they've alienated the old ones.

Look at songs like Monsters, See Dead People, Shady 2.0..the tracks they do without just to make music then listen to this album.

it does sound like a bunch of beats that em would use but that didnt seem like a bad thing as they are the only ones that can really hang with him lyrically
