What difference does the size of the room the game's being made in make a difference to the quality of the end result of the game or am I missing something?

I feel ya but for me it's with those Nintendo titles released on Wii U and Switch. So many 10/10 1st party titles in the last 5 years it's insane. Wii had some heatseakers too that I haven't even touched yet.
