Still haven't seen the finale, but I hope it doesn't get renewed. There was potential, but it's been a mid ride. Only reason I watched til the end was because I wanted to get a feel for it. If it gets picked up for S2, I probably won't watch it.

i actually liked the show. I hope they renew it. They almost lost me at first but I ended up getting into it. Better than GLOW for sure. BUT why does every god damn show have to have some annoying ass nagging bytch wife though.

IMO it should be one and done. In addition to it being underwhelming as a whole, I think it could have been much better to base this show in the 70's or early 80's. Territorial feuds set in modern day feels extremely out of place.

Taking away all the in-ring action, the main (Ace, Jack, Jack's wife) characters came off stale and didn't really do much to change that. The only interesting characters were the supporting ones (Rooster, Wild Bill, Crystal), and to me, as I said earlier, the biggest problem I have is setting this show in 2021 instead of the late 70's or early 80's. In 2021, having a woman wrestle for the company shouldn't have been as big a deal as they made it seem, and having a territory war feels very dated in modern times. At least in the 70's/80's, a territory war and a woman struggling to be taken seriously would feel more in-place than in 2021.
