Yeah Spo was still riding the Caleb Martin wave from the Boston series so he had to keep him in there, but it was obvious 6'5 lanky Martin was gonna get bodied by those trees on Denver's frontline. Like I've said before, the most underrated midseason aquisition was Kevin Love and they added Zeller who at least gives you a sturdy big body. Also have Yurtseven. The big man rotation is much more solid now than it was before the All-Star break when Spo was trotting Dewayne Dedmon and Orlando Robinson out there every night:hhh:
Yep. This is the only reason why Ham didnt win a game against Denver despite all the games being close. He goes big, even with TT, the lakers win that series despite Dlo playing terribly

Nah, they just need MPJ to get his head out of his ass. When his shot is falling he plays with much more energy defensively.

His shot wasn’t falling because he wasn’t getting easy looks from Jokic outta the 2 man game. Bam and Butler are taking that 2 on 2, head up, and our other players are staying home so those passing angles aren’t as open.

The Heat are very good at funneling offensive sets to their weakest offensive players in their most uncomfortable position. They did it against the Bucks (Jrue), Knicks (Randle and Robison), Celtics (Smart, Williams, Brown), and now the Nuggets.

KCP and MPJ struggled because the Heat decided they weren’t getting easy in-rhythm passes from Jokic in their shooting pockets

Jimmy buttler has been absolutely terrible this series. He stole the ECF mvp from caleb martin as well . If miami somehow wins this series it wont be because of butler

He’s being tasked to run around and cover Murray, which he’s done well. It makes sense if he doesn’t have enough energy to score.

Bam has been huge for them with his offensive aggressiveness.

Jokic is a plus team defender

He can be taken advantage of by quicker players but he does know how to rotate and contest. Some of the HEAT players made tough shots over Joker's arms in their faces.

He seems really good against wings and length due to the great spatial awareness plus positioning but I think the quick release of the Miami shooters is leading to issues.

Guys like Gabe, Strus, and Duncan are too quick when out on the perimeter plus Bam’s screens plus decision making make Jokic have to consider his roll threat as well.

I called out the drop coverage last game that Jokic was struggling on.

Butler’s defense on Murray has been absolutely fantastic and he took over in the 4th quarter when things got tight. He was also one of our primary playmakers who was consistently finding the open man.

Impacting the game when your shot isn’t falling is what great players do.

no excuses! He choked In the ECF and has been horrendous the first two games. When you have people on here saying his current run has been better than any of some of the all time greats then he should play better no excuses.
Jimmy butler has been terrible this nba finals two games in so far thats the facts

I fundamentally disagree he’s been terrible. His defense on Murray is part of the reason they won last night and he’s contributed some offensively.

He played lockdown defense on one of the best perimeter guards in the league, led the team in assists as the primary decision maker, and took over in the 4th quarter when we needed the offensive boost with multiple big time, momentum changing buckets.

21/9 AST (1 TO)/4 reb plus lockdown defense is not a terrible game.

Those are the standards when clowns want to use him against lebron saying his run Is more impressive than any bron finals run.
You can't be the best player on your team and Score 13 points in an nba finals game and then follow it up the next game going 7-19 no way.
He wasn't even the best player vs the celtics
