Bam Adebayo hasnt had back to back 20 10 games in a MONTH

Dude is an awful defender and got picked apart at the end by Miami get over it :russ:

Real lucky Jimmy Butler is hobbled and Tyler Herro isnt out there or it would get really ugly for Joker :whew:
Jokic is a plus team defender

He can be taken advantage of by quicker players but he does know how to rotate and contest. Some of the HEAT players made tough shots over Joker's arms in their faces.

Just like the lakers found out last round Spo realized it doesn’t make much sense to try to play small against this Denver team … they have too much size on the front court and are really good on the boards … good smart adjustment getting Love in there and playing him together with Bam
Yeah Spo was still riding the Caleb Martin wave from the Boston series so he had to keep him in there, but it was obvious 6'5 lanky Martin was gonna get bodied by those trees on Denver's frontline. Like I've said before, the most underrated midseason aquisition was Kevin Love and they added Zeller who at least gives you a sturdy big body. Also have Yurtseven. The big man rotation is much more solid now than it was before the All-Star break when Spo was trotting Dewayne Dedmon and Orlando Robinson out there every night:hhh:

Contrast that with other guys on his team that don’t rotate(or just plain old get lost defensively), then can’t even make up for it on the offensive end.

Between MPJ’s horrible offense and outright leaving shooters wide open that had to be at least a 10-12 point swing

Jimmy butler has been absolutely horrendous this two games he scored 13 points in game 1 and cost his team the win and now got 21 points on 7-19 shooting. He hasn't been the best player on the team after the 2nd round he didn't deserve that ECF MVP it was caleb Martin that was the biggest effect and reason they are in the finals. This should be the end of any Narrative that Jimmy butler is carrying his team on his back and leading it , he hasn't even been the best player on his team after they beat the knicks in the 2nd round and nearly choked a 3-0 lead. He is not carrying this team at all and so far has been poor in this finals. His first two final games vs denver are worse than any single playoff performance lebron had in this current playoff run and he is in year 20 , same for curry as well.

Salute to him, he even admitted it in his post game presser , he got caught slipin on that.. Took it 100% and said he didnt have the foresight because of the last series and they went back to original lineup..

He was superhuman the first round because the HC who got fired decided to stick a 6’3” guard on 6’7” Jimmy Butler defensively :francis:

Michael Porter Jr. is literally one week younger than me and got 200 Ms :to: what am I doing wrong
Lol in many ways players like MPJ hit the lottery. If there wasn't a max contract, superstars like Jokic, Bron and Curry would probably be getting 70-80% of their team's payroll.

The new CBA is designed to fix stuff like this. The true ‘max’ guys are gonna get their bread but guys on that second or third level down are gonna have to take way less, the apron is incredibly punitive. I’m not a huge Bill Simmons fan but his podcast did a great breakdown of the ramifications of the new CBA going forward - teams are basically gonna be two max guys + everyone else for 40mm to fill out the roster.
