We have had a presence in Africa for some time now, and its not an invasion. You know what actually is polluting progress in Africa tho?
Dogmatic/Religious Extremism.
Our global enemies investing in region instability. (The US might want in on the investing, but we would prefer the region stabilize...like China)(I would not like to see bases expanded tho, just until we can reduce the bombings, kidnappings, torture etc.)
Tribalism (Foreign influence here too I suspect)
Arab influence oppression/control of East Africa
Non-Africans inhabiting African lands ( All of them... historical or otherwise, invaders specifically)
