I think brehs gotta get some air and log the fukk off sometimes. Brehs out here twisting themselves into knots to be concerned about a breh getting cast while overlooking that a breh got cast as arguably one of the most important characters in the story.

Isn’t that character supposed to be a pale sickly looking person with a hooked nose and greasy hair. He is supposed to look sneaky like a snake.

Him looking the way he does plays a part into why Harry’s mom didn’t choose him and he hates Harry’s dad.

I don’t like changing a characters race when their looks play a part in the character.

There are plenty of other wizards you can race swap without issue. Snape isn’t one of them.

Ehh. If we're going that route, Alan Rickman wasn't really the right choice for Snape either, and there's plenty of people that think of that version of Snape as definitive. And there's plenty of other folks that somehow managed to have wild problematic thoughts about the character anyway.

Feel free to list Hagrids description from the books and Snapes description of the books and explain how, unless they use prosthetics and make up or make ol boy look like he has Jerry Curl, how this brother will look anything remotely like Snape.

Hagrid is described as big and hairy with a beard.

I don't recall his skin color being described or any other characteristics beyond that.
