But as exciting as that news is, the network added that it does “not have further information regarding the timeline.” A promo claiming that a “replay marathon” of the series would start September 4 on HBO Signature ran prematurely, HBO said, and the series will not be airing this month.

Yea I kinda figured it was dumb to air the whole series in HD before the blurays come out

It would've been HDrips on the net less than 30 mins after each episode

They probably saw how much people were anticipating this and was like "maybe we should drop the blurays first "

it might be something else. Seinfeld HD episodes been on air for a few years now but it's still not released on blu-ray as of yet. people still want to purchase it on blu-ray even though you can download those hd episodes online (with logos etc..)
